October 25th..started trekking up Mount Frissel around 4 pm. (Huge mistake) foggy, wet and slippery....the red paint trail leads are fading away...so ..I lost the trail several times....But...through thick and thin I made it to all 3 points...Mt Frissel Summit, 2 state register and finally. 3 state monument..... Making it back to the trailhead was terrifying...slipped and fell several times on the slick rocks....daylight was fading and trail markers on trees and rocks were dissapearing .... survival mode kicked in...made to the parking lot at 5 past 6pm. Huge relief.....
You go down from the summit of Mount Frissell to get to the 'high point' of Connecticut. That is because the summit of Mount Frissell is in Massachusetts. The highest summit in Connecticut is on Bear Mountain.

Are their multiple trails to the high point or did you take the only trail.
