I'm from Serbia, have been watching bbl all my life and I don't know about 60% of these young players of ours, some of them I never heard of. Crazy how at 18 they were the best talents we had to offer, yet only two or three years later they literally disappeared.

U18 is quite tricky for the US because the top 18 yr olds are getting ready for college. Most of these guys are younger or not 1 and done
All of them already at age of 18 start playing for professional teams, big talents even at 16/17 (Luka Dončić is such example), same is all over Europe.

No shame in losing to Serbia in front of a hostile crowd. Most of the U.S. players were true HSers preparing for college. Some of the Serbians were already professionals playing against grown men. We've had good success in recent junior tournaments.
