  • Want to improve your turbo's performance for free? Having trouble controlling your boost, or "Boost creep" issues? This video will show you how to port your turbo's turbine housing and wastegate port, as well as match it to your car's manifold, to promote flow. This will allow you to better control boost and remove restrictions in your vehicle's exhaust, allowing for faster spool up and a more efficient system.

    Thing is adding an angle like that will also catch air thats flowing into the turbo and can can even open the waste gate due to air flow being shot into the wastegaste hole the pressure alone when opened along with convection should be more than enough to flow out especially when ported

    I like your videos. But for future reference, sending metal shavings down the exhaust manifold, towards the valves may not be the best way to file. An oily rag in that manifold to catch the shavings would have been a better practice. Keep up the good work!

      That certainly would have been a better way to do it. Thanks for the support!

    great video, i gotta do this to my civic and this video is definitely the most descriptive one i've found on this topic

    I have used a few cheap turbos. I automatically just port the wastegate soon as they come out of the box. I used 1 that didn't get modifed and it was impossible to control the boost.
    I like to add a slight chamfer to the port with a sanding drum. Not sure it does anything but it makes me feel good 😂

    • @CashedOutCars
      @CashedOutCars  2 года назад

      That does sound like an odd problem, my guesses are the wastegate flap may have word weird and be getting stuck or something wear related. Best of luck!
