Thing is adding an angle like that will also catch air thats flowing into the turbo and can can even open the waste gate due to air flow being shot into the wastegaste hole the pressure alone when opened along with convection should be more than enough to flow out especially when ported
I like your videos. But for future reference, sending metal shavings down the exhaust manifold, towards the valves may not be the best way to file. An oily rag in that manifold to catch the shavings would have been a better practice. Keep up the good work!
We’ll find out soon enough! With the cheap actuators I have it may or may not do the trick, I’m waiting on axles and then I can finally get the car together and try it🤘🏻
It would have been a good idea, I just wanted to finish it up quickly. My main concern was getting the wastegate issues sorted out and it worked great!
That does sound like an odd problem, my guesses are the wastegate flap may have word weird and be getting stuck or something wear related. Best of luck!
@@CashedOutCars exactly. It happens when I give it decent throttle around 3200 rpm then I’ll let off slightly and get back on and it works as it should. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
@@CashedOutCars thanks. I plan to run a ebay tb25 turbo. It comes with 8psi spring. I’m going to order a 5psi spring and bore out the wastegate to hopefully by around 6-8

great video, i gotta do this to my civic and this video is definitely the most descriptive one i've found on this topic

Great video. I’m need to do this to my turbo yet and was looking for this video exactly 👍
It makes a huge difference!
Did you try it and what is the result?
@@lexusreefa I’ve ported it but haven’t installed yet. Waiting on am ecu before putting it on

That certainly would have been a better way to do it. Thanks for the support!
Thanks 👍 I'm tempted to try this
It should make a big difference!
Great stuff man .
Appreciate it!
Good video man. :)
Following for the dyno number baseline comparison
Hopefully it'll be soon to come! I've got to get a few other upgrades done before I can remap it
how did it effect your performance> before and after porting and boost pressure>??
Really interested if this will be enough to keep boost creep at bay.

@@CashedOutCars update?
@Manzano I'm sure it took care of it. I haven't watched his other videos yet but I know from experience that this works.
Would you tell us about the result please?
Is it necessary to make a waste outlet?
I posted some comments about it on later videos with the car, but boost creep has been entirely eliminated! :)
Why you didn't do the turbo compressor inlet

Good shiz!
I need advice on my 07 gti
What advice are you looking for?
See I’m also running an eBay turbo and mine just started boost creeping recently. Wouldn’t it do it out if the box and not after 3k miles with it? 🤨

Results??
Still in the works, I had a ton of other projects to finish on the car and just started a new job. Should be back on the road very soon!

You should be in good shape to do that! I’ll be posting the results as soon as I can, stay tuned!
Files are not flat unfortunately.
ooof sheeshh....
I liked the start of the video but the music just got louder I stopped watching.
