This was a technique that I learned when I was in first grade by mt great grandmother. She was a well know potter in our area when she had been younger. It really brought back memories of her teaching my sister and myself.
That is air dry clay not polymer. There’s a Claycraft air dry brand clay bag in the shot with the green clay at 6:40. Also using water based paints such as gouache with polymer will cause bubbles in the clay when it bakes.
Loved this videos! amazing work! I just wanted to ask you if you could please tell me where you got those silicone pink molds please! it would be great to know where to find them or how are they called! cause I really liked the detail in them, definitely a new subscriber :)
You are commenting on a channel that stole the videos of the artist. So subscribing to them and asking them questions isn’t going to do any good if you’re interested in her art work. Follow the link to the actual artist on Instagram. Also, those are homemade molds.
If there were a contest for the world's fastest video tutorial, THIS would be the award winner. Blue Ribbon award goes to... If there were any contest for the best easy to follow polymer clay tutorial? This would NOT be the one to come out on top.
Thank you soooo much for the tutorial ❤️❤️ can i ask something, how long we can keep the cake structure(dummy) outside (function hall) with flowers (polymer clay) ? how long able to keep flowers outside?
Where did you get the molds you used in this video? Are you Valentinaa Flowers or did you just cut & paste this from Instagram for reference only? Thank you.
Honestly I'm pretty sure it's either air dry clay or cold porcelain. I see these kinds of tutorials for making flowers all the time and whenever I try them with polymer clay they never seem to form the right way (like the petal edges especially, and when you try using that big ball tool the clay just sticks to it). Found out one day that most of the videos were using cold porcelain. They all tag it as polymer clay, probably to get more views or just misguided in thinking polymer clay would work the same way.
It’s polymer clay. There are a bunch of different kinds. Only use premium clay for this kind of work. I like primo sculpey,, FIMO Professional, and Kato Polyclay. Typically you’re gonna pay 2.50-3$ for 2oz brick. Also important to remember with this kind of clay; the quality of different clays goes from awesome to unusable real quick. But that’s just my opinion. Charles
@@ChartingCharlie many of these does not look like PC, more like cold porcelaine or anything BUT PC. This due to what looks like no baking (e.g. air dry etc).
Eivind Krey Hanssen man I’m trying to understand your meaning but I sincerely don’t. But I will say this based on my experience: polymer clay is the most versatile material that I’ve used. It’s basically acrylic paint with polymer as the binder. There is a ton of confusion over pe, even amongst other professionals. But what I find fascinating is that you can use your color theory and color mixing skills to achieve many different looks. You can also achieve different consistencies by adding liquid binders to the clay. My point is that imo this is one of the easiest mediums to play around with but perhaps the most difficult to truly master. So if you’re angry with polymer clay I’m sure that the fault is with your understanding, and not with the clay or the great techniques shown in this video. Humbly, Charles
@@ChartingCharlie lol. I've got nothing against PC, i use FIMO myself. My point is, the material in the video does not look like Polymer Clay, but air dry clay or porcelain clay. Why, because I cant see any signs of them baking it. I have heard of Polymer clay that air dries /hardens without baking, but none have shown me a brand of it or a video of it.

Is that Fimo polymer clay?

In the off chance someone answers me, does anyone know what the little half sphere things she used to size the clay is called?
It’s a tool made by Padico, it’s called a color scale. Just google it and you’ll find it, they aren’t expensive.
Could you share u r polymer clay recipe plz
What do you mean? There is no recipe for polymer clay. Polymer clay contains plasticisers, oils and softeners. Polymer clay olny hardens in an oven.
@@Resokisi then what is this clay
@@shafna123shafa9 It's air dry clay or cold porcelain. You can't make polymer clay, it's chemical (but not dangerous) 🙁
It's cold porcelain, pretty sure of it.
