Hi.. its amazing, is procelin clay flowers are durable? It wont crack or break while fell down ? Can we use this in hair clibs and head bands?
Hi, first off this is very amazing and I'm hoping to make something similar I just had a few inquiries.
1. Can I use regular acrylic paint on the air drying clay or do I have to buy a special paint and/or glaze/seal?
2. What are those petals shaping moulds called which you used to texture the petal and where did you get yours?
3. Does the pastel that you brushed on stay on with decent pigment or will it rub off easily?

I will answer your questions
1. You can use acrylic, oil, pastel and water color for air dry clay
2. It’s name silicone mold or viener mold, you can research on Amazon or google
3. It’s depends about temperature, light... and if you take care it will keep long time

You can stick it with hot glue

Flower is very beautiful, What adhesive do you use to stick the petals & the wires?
i use school glue or PVA glue

I might suggest you spray the green pastel and the petals with a fixative before you put them together. It will keep the color from fading.
I'd call that "Slick"!

Hi l really liked your art of making flowers. It's looking easy but I know it's not that easy. I also want to make this flower. If you can answer few of my questions.
1. Do you assemble all the petals while they are wet or you you let them dry first.
2. The wire you inserted in the petal do we have to bend it while the petals are wet or we can bend it at any angle even after drying.
3.Colouring or shading of petals can be done after drying?? I have used acrylic colours for shading but it makes a very thick coating on flower and makes them look artificial.

thank you, i will answer you:
1. i assemble petals white they dried
2. blend it when the clay drying about 50-70%
3. Painting after petals dry (i use pain pastel, oil colour too, all same way)

How much time it takes to fully dry?
it's nonbaking clay so leave it at room temperature to dry for 1-2 days depending on the local
weather & how thick the clay is
What paint did you use?
I used oil colors and soft pastel
