I’d love to have a graduation party in your shop! The new grain vac looks great! It will be a great unit to put behind Herman and let him SCREAM on the PTO.
hello. Happy Independence Day, I love your videos especially on olivers change nothing and thank you for making me discover your country . greeting from a fan of belgium
A congratulations to Abby, on to new adventures. And with all the old mature iron your dad has worked on over the years, overfilling the bin and so on: I'm sure the swear jar is plenty full so funding should be in order. Otherwise he just needs some extra help form the neighbors, so he can go spool up some more copper.
Once again, nice learning experience for me. This is stuff I never get to see. By the way, I enjoyed your last video with Ross. You make a heck of a parts man. I also enjoyed the references to Raiders of the Lost Ark, especially the ball rolling down the steps. Very cool!
Thanks Charlie! Ross has been sitting on some of that footage for 6 months, but his procrastination timed it up with the new Indiana Jones movie. Even the blind squirrel occasionally gets a nut.
Cool I glad I didn’t miss that video. Your restoration and rebuild projects has been so greatly helpful towards my projects. I can not thank u enough for hints and tricks to make it work
Hey Chris, With all the replacement parts available for these seats, how about a restoration video. Only ask because I'm having to rebuild, replace, mine since one was not present. Just a suggestion. Love all the info. Thanks. JF
Nice job on the instructions for the PTO, your always giving us a very thorough account of the operations and purpose behind what Oliver did. I like hearing the history and getting some knowledge of these timeless wonders. Awesome looking power grain vacuum, she's a beaut, you'll be like a kid in the candy store with it. Enjoyed watching, like the job your doing. Thanks and have a great Sunday.
Nicely done Chris. I know a guy that went to pull his engine out of an 1800 and didn't realize he had to pull out the power shaft..he got in there with the skid steer and picked up on that engine realized it was stuck, so he did some wiggling and shaking until the front wheels of the tractor were about off the ground. I came along and nicely pointed out to him that he should pull out that shaft because it would make his life easier, and when he finally got it apart, unfortunately it was bent lol.. Happy Fourth of July buddy and congratulations to Abby! Can't wait to see the 1755 on that grain vac
Thanks! I've worked on a few where the power shaft was bent and used anyways. They would have wear on one side where it lined up with the chain coupler. They would also pull out hard.
We finally are. We got about an inch a week ago, and we're around 3/4" so far this weekend. The corn is really responding. but there is definitely yield loss out there. My emergence was good, but some guys in the area had poor germination, and there are going to be 2 different stages of corn and beans in the fields because of it.
Glad to see another episode on the 1855. That's a nice looking grain vac. I think you will really like that over using a sweep auger. Hehe i was almost thinking you were going to say that you had gotten the 1855 back together and were going to use it on the new grain vac. Great video as always.
Chris know keep repeating my questions I'm sorry all failures farm tractors companies do think was poor leaderships, engineers, with quality other lots problems become issues trying fix? As many companies failures not understanding farmers problems have many machines fixing, costs hurt with parts trying diagnosis belly open can worms if know I mean. Thanks again answer my questions great video keep up good work thanks.
Oliver's biggest short comings over the years was management. They were of course mistakes made in engineering, they were all human. There were times when they had good management, but it only takes a handful of bad calls to start the downhill slide.
Any tips or info to restore the hydraulics on a 1650. It has to be run at almost full throttle to get the 3 point arms up. I suspect its something to do with the servo valve.
@@ryanmyers5847 it sounds like a tired pump to me. The priority valve makes sure the first 5 gallons per minute goes to the steering, so if your pump is weak, the priority valve will shut off the flow to the rest of the hydraulics to keep the steering working. When you speed up the engine, pump output increases to the point that the priority valve can open up and let oil through to everything else.
Right on... I appreciate it... I'm going to try to get to it this winter so I'll be in touch. I will say I'm glad you are sharing the knowledge you have on these machines. It makes it a little easier to figure them out.
Great 😃 learning Again. Thank You 👍.
Thanks Chris 👍. Vac color is cool!😉. Looking forward to next one!
Thanks 👍

You'll never be short of a hoover for the house....
Keep the videos coming... 👍
Next time I overfill a grain bin, cleanup will be much easier.

Chris I'm glad to see you're doing a little bit of work on the tractor. Nice clean shop 👍🚜 thanks Michael

I still need to go through the one for the 1855. That will be coming
Thanks, your videos help so much.
Awesome new toy and clean shop can’t wait to see it in action
You and me both!
This is the High qauilty youtube video I can get behind and watch for hours great video Chris
Running 2655 Oliver 4wd coming through a sale up here in northern Alberta through team auctions on July 8th. Pretty cool looking beast.

nice grain vac and it's Green !! Thank you.
It should match up nicely
There was still snow up here in Mn when you made this video lol .
That’s one nice looking grain vac. 👍🍻
Thanks 👍
Wow, the shop looks so empty when it's all cleaned up! That grain vac sure is pretty, and it matches the tractors!
Glad to see this pop back up! Was going to ask at some point how progress was going.

You getting any rain?? We're really short here in eastern Iowa 🤔☔

That would have been a nice surprise for me too! 😂
Can’t wait to see the vac in action. I have a REM 1026B And would like to see an honest review of a small airlock vac.
Hopefully it's a good review, because it's not a rental. I asked around and the Walinga had good feedback.
Boy that new automatic girlfriend you bought looks like it will keep doing what it was made to do even after you make the final payment.
Maybe I had better get a garden hose and a golf ball....

I just put together a g1355 for a neighbor, I forgot how heavy these things are.
Yea that shaft can really test your patients sometimes. First time use with a truck driver audience. That could get interesting.

How do the remotes work?
I'm not sure. Its been a while since anything has been hooked up that needed the remotes.

It's green with white wheels, how can it be anything less than awesome.

I'm in southern Michigan.
Your little shaft wont hurt that seal . You shouldnt pull on your shaft so much . Of course that decreases the size of the trailer park
😂😂😂

The engine speed port for pto works great to run a auger in reverse to clean it out. Would you know if a pto generator works in reverse?
I don't know the answer to that, but have wondered the same. I have seen where it's been done, but I don't know if they had to modify the generator.
Take an empty toilet paper roller and stick it on the shaft when you paint it.
Good idea. Thanks!
