When it comes to someone like Maynard, after all the interviews and the way he makes his music....I have no doubt that a new album will completely raise the bar for other bands to an astronomical hight at which only Tool could reach to begin with! The entire band is compromised of musical,lyrical and artistic geniuses! I'm just thank full to be alive in a time where I could enjoy what Maynard has created!

As one that waited years for Aenima, I'm used to waiting for Tool's music. It's part of the experience. I'm willing to wait as long as it damn well takes.
The time it takes next year is irrelevant to me. The real question for me is will it be as good as all of the hype in our heads? Will it be the Master Piece we anticipate? If it is how long it takes will not matter!!!

It has been many winters since the bombs set the sky on fire. I lead a small group of survivors through the wasteland but our numbers are dwindling. Food is scarce, we have no more medicine and we're running low on water. I don't know how many of us will make it. The only thing that keeps us going is that next year, Tool release a new album.
I'm pretty sure they'll finally release the new album pre their EU tour 2019. They did the same thing back in 2006 with 10.000 Days. Tool doesn't tour Europe without a new album.
