- We installed the HIKEit X9 Throttle Controller on Miguel's Jeep, and we figured this video would help a couple of folks.
The difference the HIKEit makes is crazy!

does yours ever get wet? when it rains my dash beside my steering wheel gets soaked because the door seal leaks from the factory. are these waterproof?
Mine doesn’t get wet. I don’t have the infamous door seal leak *knock on wood*. I reached out to HikeIT, and it is not waterproof. I’d definitely look into moving it, or sealing it up. Better safe than sorry!
Great video. I know it’s hard to get up under the dash and work especially with a camera but this helps a lot. Do you recommend getting this controller?

The difference it makes on any vehicle is crazy!
I just got an 07 JK 3.8 stick. I hate the way it bogs down so easy after letting off the clutch at slow speeds. It will actually stall out due to an unresponsive throttle after 5 seconds of letting out on the clutch. I'm going to check the throttle plate to see if it's gooey but I doubt it is. Do you think this throttle controller will help that sort of thing?
I’m not 100% sure to be honest. It helps with the pedal response (usually has a lag to it). My jeep is not a Manual, and I would definitely take a look into JK G&G’s video. He drives a stick, so it maybe answer some of your questions.

Ok saw your video cause i was trying to find a way to installed my Hikeit , by the way awesome product guys just buy it thank me later they are great fast delivery and awesome product go to JK Gear and Gadgets chanel and get a nice discount your welcome :), and IMDOROTEO you don't have to take all that stuff apart just remove the plastic, get a flash light and remove the pedal click and replace with the kit that comes with Hikeit yes a little pain in the rear but its doable believe me im 260 6ft" dude you can do it, if i can lol better than taking everything apart, thank you for the video fellow 0llll0 wave to you keep jeeping yall.

Hey sorry for the late reply, yes we’ve had them for a while now. Both our jeeps still run them. No problems with them and we still like them. Hope this helped.

Saw ur video while in prosses of buying a jeep... so if it has throttle control.... it's not because something is wrong with the gas controller.... I thought the transmission was going bad
The throttle controller changes the response of the gas pedal. Typically there’s a bit of a delay in the gas pedal from stock!
Because it wouldn't let me cruze at 15-20... it would pull and drive normal like at 30 and over...

How is the manual/auto transmission mode selected?
Hold the down or up bottom. The down button is Manual. The button facing up is automatic

0 benefits to using this while using a winch. Anytime I go wheeling, I put it in Economy/4x4 mode.
