- It could be said that the Putney House is a lesson in resonance and relevance.
Designed by renowned architects Tonkin Zulaikha Greer, the five-bedroom home invites as much intrigue and awe as it did when it was constructed.
On the northern bank of the Parramatta River, ‘Putney House’ possess dual character. Its North-facing forms are playful and expressive, while the Southern riverfront elevation is reminiscent of a classical villa.
Framed by double-height timber ceilings and oversized windows to private gardens, there is a cantilevered living area that extends to a gas heated pool.
Its Basaltina stone kitchen is surrounded by formal and informal living areas, and a large dining room.
Rich in considered details, custom joinery sets the tone for the downstairs bedroom. The sleeping quarters become more impressive on the second level, with the views from the master a standout, extending across Kissing Point Bay.
