- This one's a hot little rarity right here. Local band from (if I recall correctly) East Stroudsburg, PA, this album took me a good half year to track down again. This album just came in the mail today, so I'm jumping on the opportunity to upload it as soon as I can. I'd personally describe this album's sound as what you get pushing Korn to an extra limit, and giving them even more open-ended ideas to throw into their music. Been itching to archive this gem for a while now. Hope you guys enjoy this one. One more album I'm really thinking about buying, hope I can get my hands on it and upload it here since it's not available on RUclips, either. Hope I can manage that soon, along with a few other albums and individual tracks I have in mind. If anyone has any suggestions, requests, anything of the sort, email me @ ytmusicarchivist@gmail.com
Track Listing:

Very thankful this is available.
Im SO glad to have found this somewhere. I lost my cd ages ago. Saw them at a bday party in Nazareth Pa and loved them. Such a great band.
Holy shit! I have been looking for this album for so many years! Ever since I saw these guys in concert in college.
This band should have been huge.
Agreed
My parents knew some of the band members pretty well, Derek I'm pretty sure, They played a few shows on my parents back porch! I've gotta find it, but somewhere we've got a copy of their other album, "Pucker". Thanks for uploading this! Brings back a ton of memories
If you could find it and are able to upload it and/or even send the CD rips or anything, that would be awesome and much appreciated! I've been looking for it myself since someone initially commented on it last year but never was told the name of the album so had no leads. I'm gonna see if I can find any more info about it. If you do end up finding it though, feel free to email me about it for sure
Jennifer Listen was such a great band! i sure wish i could come across their second CD but i’m thrilled to have found this!
Derek, James, Brian and Dondi were amazing artists and awesome people!
“you’re not so fucking special”
Second album is on Spotify
So FYI . . . the Pucker album is now up on Spotify, and available soon on other platforms. Breathing Joey is being added shortly.
Holy cow, just seeing this!! That's awesome news
Thank you so F'n much for this Breathing Joey Album. I lost my CD so long ago. I have never forgot Jennifer Listen! Rock On! Thank you..
Do you by chance have their other release? I don't remember the name of it but I do know they put out 2 albums before they disbanded!
I've been waiting 20 years to hear them again! Hometown Allentown, PA
@@katielynnCooper I unfortunately don't. I actually had no clue they even had another album they'd released, heard about these guys from a friend so my research is somewhat minimal overall since what I'm limited to is just what's online. But my friend happens to be friends with the bassist's son, so maybe he'd know more about it.
Glad I could help archive this little piece of local history, though! Always love to be able to do so. I'll look into this other release and let you know what I find out, if anything. Cheers from Kansas!
I saw these guys at Western Carolina University opening up for Fuel. I must have been 13 or 14 years old. It’s good to hear this again. Do you know anywhere to get a download of these songs at or is this probably the best you can probably get?
@@TheArtofBacon Oh hey, sorry this is so late! Yeah, if you want, I can email you the tracks since this came from my physical copy of the album :) My email is just about everywhere on my channel haha, but I'll post it here as well: ytmusicarchivist@gmail.com
Shoot me something and I can send a link to the album!
Still have this album and seen them live at the State Theater in Easton PA. First heard them on WZZO when they would play local bands music late at night. WZZO said where to go to buy this album which I believe was the only place you could pick it up at brand new. A local small mom and pop music store near Liberty High School in Bethlehem PA. Really miss this band and love them to death.
Aaahhhhh.....you guys made my day....
I have a signed copy of this album…saw them at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom!
Saw you guys way back at Music Fest opening up for fuel
Hey a long time ago, in a health class, we were given these CDs that featured songs relating to domestic abuse. Most of the songs were pop, or country, except one. By a band called Jennifer Listen, and the song was called Shallow.
I got rid of the Cd years ago, but ran into it recently at a thrift store, but didn’t buy it because I thought I’d just be able to find the song online. Unfortunately I can’t, so now I’m tempted to go back and get that cd, cause that song was pretty damn good, and I want it in my collection. Along with this. Where did you find it?
I came across it on Discogs after hearing about the band from a friend. Obviously, it was incredibly hard to track down. Missed my chance on one copy being sold, had to wait a good 7 months for another to pop up. If it weren't for me constantly checking and pure luck, this thing might've been hidden away for who knows how much longer
Also, did you ever happen to find that CD again at the thrift shop?
