@@Verlarnbro ur guardian never talks because actions speak louder than words and u can convey meaning through gestures. It’s such an impactful moment that your character speaks highlighting how drastic the stakes are and importance even if there’s no one there to hear him(except there is ).
add the fact that hug and sigh of relief in the end. we can see that our guardian would've been a broken person if Ghost died.. in spite our godlike power...the guardian is still but a human. Relieved that his first friend is alive and well.

2 started when destiny 2 first launched and only played hunter but i won't lie i cried when cayde died in forsaken and i still wear the remembrance cape
Hands down the best cutscene in destiny history, hearing the raw emotion from the guardian really hit me, reminds me of when masterchief lost cortana in halo 4
he probably only signed on for a short time and i can understand if the actor has a life and does not want to always do this though i gotta say this ending was 100% Cadye all the way
Cayde fullfilled his destiny. He gifted us the life he couldn't have with Sundance, and reunited with Sundance in the Light to now finally spend the time with her. He is never gone. We are all connected. It kinda sounds fun, but as we loved him in some childish manner, Cayde finally became adult in a great way. 😢❤
The guardian pleading with the light to bring back ghost, and cayde saying, "You're my favorite, don't ever forget that" then giving his light to ghost. 💔😭 It broke my heart, and actually made me cry. It's really hard not to cry over this. Lance Reddick would have loved the outcome of this DLC. His voice brought the solar system together in the end. ❤

As a hunter, this hit me right in the feels, the torch has been properly passed to the next vanguard...sure it isn't someone we chose or wanted intially, but Cayde gave his approval. knowing cayde is part of our light is enough for me to rest easy. i've been wearing the memory of cayde cloak since i got it...might be time to hang it up for a while
10 years of playing with my raid team, laughing together having great times, all the hours we put in. This scene and the music now we are crying together, what an amazing but sad ending, ' Guardian there you are ' Emotional ❤
I am so sad.. yet also so happy. It is a way better acceptable way to say farewell to Cayde then Forsaken. Yet.. I feel so empty. I wish we had him for a longer time. Yet.. he said he gifted us the time + life him and Sundance could never get. Well.. now he can. He reunited with Sundance in the Light after gifting us with saving our Ghost. It was his destiny.. 😢 I wish we had more of him nonetheless but this time he sounded so fine. And that one last message of Cayde.. it broke my heart and made me proud at the same time. We got some more time with him. You could almost say he finally became adult. I will miss him. A hero. A legend. A great end, but the tears are flowing nonetheless. Love you Cayde ❤

I have worn it for almost a year if not longer I believe I got it during or after the witch queen, I wish that we were able to be the Hunter Vanguard just like Titans should be able to get the Titan Vanguard because vavallah has lost his light cayde leaving hurt goodbye again, old friend

I personally haven't and probably won't play this Expansion, but I do find this emotional. The reason for it I think is because Nathan Fillion actually did this one, rather than Nolan North in Forsaken (who did a great job mind you), but there was one thing missing back then.
Born human, died as a human. Reborn exo, died 6 more time as one. Reborn guardian, died alone. Revived by a wish, died as a legend... I guess Cayde-6 really used up his 9 lives like nobody before.
The ghost said he's like me but Cayde. We legit got the sword that was on our tomb in the sundial maze we were supposed to die here Cayde was ghosts ghost this time he stopped our death in this timeline where we were ment to die. We have the sword and now we still have the guardian. Cayde gave us his golden gun and was ment to be ghost revive the whole time. This is why riven granted it cause we saved her clutch we are the wish bringer if we die then rivens and her mates wishes wouldn't have been possible. Cayde being back wouldn't have changed nothing. Him saving our ghost changed everything. And it made crow a better man because of it. Proud of Cayde. He saved ghost. By being the best ghost if only for the moment. The way a guardian should go out..using his light to inspire bravery and make the ultimate sacrifice in death. True guardian.

He's not technically our ghost, I think he just revived our ghost with his light, which fizzled his out. He's back with Sundance now
