Dude that climb DOES look really fun! You didn't put the grade in the video or the title. But is that the 12a you were telling me about over breakfast?
I've heard others say this but I've been climbing 25 years and my friends have as well and we never had 1 issue. I also just watched a instructional video where the 'expert' says gates on the same side as direction of travel is not dangerous.
+Ward Van Damme I suppose I could. Sooner then later I may be taking some guys out for their first trad experience. I can shoot a video of some of the basics when I go over it with them.
Man, sure seems the dudes in Kentucky haven't had much experience grading climbs - another very questionable 5.12 ish rating? plus lots of new bolts right next to great gear placements - that is always a sign of a newly developed crag by climbers that haven't visited or climbed at enough variety of crags over their careers - still good job man - I know you didn't rate and I am not trying to belittle it but it seemed more 11a than 12a to me, that's all
Looks like a really interesting climb. Quite easy most of the way, just a hard crux to the anchors. Good climbing!

+Brandon Anchant (CarolinaHeat87) Yeap, same climb I was talking about. Best of luck on it and good seeing you again!
According to me, carabiners are setted in the wrong direction..no ? Opening should be in the opposit direction you go.
Just a technical topic...

You should lead that on gear. Looks like there's a fair few placements
I'd like to see you try that loll
Can you make a video of your climbing rack pls?

That would be amazing!!!
What part of the gunks is this?
+Crookfungus43 ' This is at the Red River Gorge I believe
+Brandon Anchant (CarolinaHeat87) thank you
It's a shame that somebody had to place all those bolts. Plenty of knobs to sling and other trad placements.
Why place gear when you can just free solo the route?
