I miss this era. YTV feels so sanitized now. I get that things chance and I'm not the target audience anymore, but I wish they didn't completely give up their identity. At least they still have spongebob.
I think at the end of the day, we all just miss being kids. Like I bet we all felt shock at teletoon ending. We miss the "then that was", and see the now as "wrong" by comparison. Like, when a favourite show is rebooted, but different - we blame the fact that it "isn't the same" on the feeling of disgust it brings. Like teen titans go, I honestly bet we would have had issues with the original series coming back. We miss the era, the moment in time when it made sense
My biggest complaint with the Incredibles game other than it being a run of the mill brawler is that it’s T rated. Same problem with Shantae and the Seven Seas and Snack World (probably didn’t sell well overseas because of its age rating).
A lot of toys and games from that era were made to be much more impressive in commercials than they actually were. Those commercials were our generation’s “influencers”, complete with shameless exaggerations and shady practices. 😂 I remember getting that SpongeBob movie video game on GBA and being disappointed when it turned out to be a completely different game than the console versions. (I still wonder how TF it was legal to advertise them as if they were all the same game back then!)

They changed their logo in 2014 and almost a decade has passed and they haven’t even changed it. I miss how things were at this time.

I had and still have the stunt boss 360 and its just as amazing as it was on tv.
