If you dont know, the "sorry, you have been blocked" isnt a ban, its when servers detect server spammers and cyber attacks. This recently happened on discord due to api issues but boomlings is different. You cant get banned on boomlings so best you can do is just... wait.
i got banned from commenting (and later posting, then emailing) in Geometry dash for almost a whole year now. And it said it was for 34 days. i still dont know how to fix this, so ill just hope it gets fixed in the 2.2 update or if someone can help me.
yeah its just cloudflare being cloudflare, their ddos protection can sometimes just be smoking something and go haywire for random people. the best you can do is wait for cloudflare to do something in that situation.
You can't be banned from boomlings because your blocked from their website its just that your being rate limited which happens when you do too many actions on a site to the point that it can't handle these actions so it as to limit you and the only way you get around this rate limitation is to wait . This can also happen even without being on the boomlings website, but the way you can be "banned on geometry dash" is if you are using a VPN or a virtual private network to hide your IP address which triggers the gd antithetical making you not comment for a couple of hours.

The website probably thought Vortox was a spammer as he downloaded lots of resources (downloaded the same level multiple times). 3. This caused Vortox to be blocked from accessing the server as his IP was blocked.

This was the first video I have seen on your second channel, and I feel bad for you. I was banned from Minecraft for “Hacking/Cheating” in a hardcore server. They thought I was using X-ray, but I was just getting lucky finding ancient debris. I am still banned to this day, and I will never play on a server again. ( also, I was banned on my alt account too. I have been banned since July 17, 2021.)
its a bug with cloudflare, its a problem on their side, not robtop's. it would get fixed when rob will contact them or when cloudflare fixes them. your DNS just got blocked by them because of a malfunction in their system. it happened in discord too

Also to everybody, it's not a bug, it's an intentional security system RobTop (and Discord) set up with Cloudflare, although in these two specific instances the causes of them are different. Discord shut off all connections to their servers due to a security vulnerability that was found whilst RobTop likely just has DoS attack protection which blocks IPs sending too many requests to the servers
The servers are not working for me either and no I did not change my password. I have seen a lot of people lately saying servers are down so it’s not just you. I hope it gets fixed soon ❤
Update: so around 3 hours ago, the servers went down cuz RobTop is changing to newer servers, all of you should be able to play gd again in around 3 or so hours, keep calm, and keep being awesome everyone.

This happened to me when Doggie verified Deimos. All of your devices with the same IP get rate limited when one of the devices have too many actions taken. You have to wait about 12 hours to a day for it to be fixed

I had the EXACT same problem, literally down to the t, and it just fixed itself so idk, it fixed on monday so I think passing the week did something, or maybe my gd did something weird, should fix itself on its own after a while though
It's prob that the cloudflare servers or the security service robtop uses were down in your area, which means you can't connect to the address on the internet and sometimes causes that blocked webpage to load, from my experience atleast

Hi Vortrox, Its a GD player named Holloww. I have spoke with many gd players on discord according to them, their accounts also got banned. Even my account got banned. So its not only that you got banned, many people got banned because of playing WHAT. -Holloww Edit: Ok, you got unbanned that's fine but many other people are still banned on the GD servers. Imagine building a level and other people gets Banned when they try to play it. But yeah i experience that the Servers are laggy. I beat speedrun 4 weeks ago (around 230k objects). Rn i play innards from Kaito aswell and its lags soo randomly. This level has not even 100k Objects.. 😢

I think I just got banned for an hour or something... I was going through daily chat trying to get back to when it was released (it was probably around 9 - 9:30 so about 3 hours back) and all of a sudden the comments just stopped loading. Then I reloaded a few times and it just removed all the comments and said "no comments." Then I checked all the other stuff, and nothing worked... I could access the daily level, weekly demon, and event level, but none of the comments would load, and nothing would show up in the leaderboard tab, gauntlet levels, search, featured, lists, or map packs. The only things I had access to were my saved levels (I also couldn't access those comments), creator tab, quests, and the paths. My daily chests were also blocked and I couldn't view my account when I clicked it on the main menu. Went to the discord to check if it was a server issue but everyone else's games were fine, I was also blocked from the boomlings site... Like 15 mins ago or something I tried to load everything again and it worked. Don't know how or why but I guess a bot detected something I was doing and banned me or something... Unfortunately I think trying to fix this ended up wasting most of the time I had to play games, so that's no fun but oh well

I've gotten banned too on one of my many Wi-Fi networks. Since I use multiple wifi networks at a time, on bethany's network, I am banned. On other networks, I can still use Geometry Dash. So basically, if you get banned on geometry dash, it only bans you on the network you're currently using at the second you got banned.
Turns out, this also happened to me. Right now during this comment being posted, I randomly got my privilege to play gd wiped out. I even tried going to the boomlings website, and it says "Error 1005," so your pretty much not alone
Happened to me when I was just going at the end of the daily levels list. I just turned our router for 8mins OFF to have a different IP. (It's automatic if you have dynamic IP adress). Or u can use your mobile data to play rn. It's up to you... JUST TURN YOUR MOBILE DATA ON TO SOLVE THIS QUICK, you're welcome

OK anyone that is reading this Imma tell you a probable solution. There is either 2 things going on to check if you have been blocked fully you wanna go to the account management page. If it comes up with a big red X then you have been blocked. If it doesn't come up with a big red X then the servers are down for you. If it came up with the big red X and you have played how by spu7nix then you wanna go over to your saved levels and delete it from your saved levels. After that you should be able to play GD, if this doesn't work you are going to have to wait until 2.2 comes out since there might be a API issue with GD right now. If it works then please give me a like so more people can get this fixed. (If it doesn't work Tell me in the replys and Ill post an update if I get time.

Important question! The same thing happened to me about 2 years ago. I could not do the same things. At the time I was playing on two different devices with the same account, but they were not synced. And in exactly the same month, on both devices, I couldn't do anything. However, when I switched to Steam and logged back into the same account, everything is only possible on this device. I do not know if I was banned or not, or if something else happened. If anyone knows how to find out if I am banned or how to fix the problem, I would be VERY grateful.❤
the gd thing happens when you change your password on boomlings and dont change it in the game. since your game is trying to access the account with another password than the one on boomlings, it gives you errors. to solve this all you need to do is refresh login

Vortrox, it was the level. I’m blocked to and very sad :( hope it’s fixed by 2.2
Plus a vebsite that tells if a website is doen, said that the servers will be down for two weeks :(

Turns out, this also happened to me. Right now during this comment being posted, I randomly got my privilege to play gd wiped out. I even tried going to the boomlings website, and it says "Error 1005," so your pretty much not alone

i personally think this happens is cause 2.2 is gonna change servers and account website, and thats why it could affect peoples account on gd.
The same is happening to me right now, I've been restarting my game a lot with a texture pack and frankly im worried.

Happened to me when I was just going at the end of the daily levels list. I just turned our router for 8mins OFF to have a different IP. (It's automatic if you have dynamic IP adress). Or u can use your mobile data to play rn. It's up to you...

The same thing happened to me even though I have done absolutely nothing wrong. Maybe random people are getting this for no reason, or maybe I actually did something wrong without knowing 💀. Hope this gets resolved before 2.2 and if anybody has any suggestions for me, much appreciated.

I thought that I was the only one banned, I think my theory is that Robtop today has started to switch the servers.

OK anyone that is reading this Imma tell you a probable solution. There is either 2 things going on to check if you have been blocked fully you wanna go to the account management page. If it comes up with a big red X then you have been blocked. If it doesn't come up with a big red X then the servers are down for you.
If it came up with the big red X and you have played how by spu7nix then you wanna go over to your saved levels and delete it from your saved levels. After that you should be able to play GD, if this doesn't work you are going to have to wait until 2.2 comes out since there might be a API issue with GD right now.
If it works then please give me a like so more people can get this fixed. (If it doesn't work Tell me in the replys and Ill post an update if I get time.

The same thing happened to me about 2 years ago. I could not do the same things. At the time I was playing on two different devices with the same account, but they were not synced. And in exactly the same month, on both devices, I couldn't do anything. However, when I switched to Steam and logged back into the same account, everything is only possible on this device. I do not know if I was banned or not, or if something else happened. If anyone knows how to find out if I am banned or how to fix the problem, I would be VERY grateful.❤

the gd thing happens when you change your password on boomlings and dont change it in the game. since your game is trying to access the account with another password than the one on boomlings, it gives you errors. to solve this all you need to do is refresh login
