As the previous owner of this truck, I am very glad to see it running again and continuing its journey in the hands of a new owner who will start using it for work, as it deserves. Thank you, Flexiny, for your contribution in that.
I've always wondered if it was worth using those trucks today for any kind of work even with LPG installation, the fuel consumption must be a little painful compared to diesel trucks isn't it? As the previous owner you should know best :D
@@WymiataczPlays The fuel consumption is quite huge indeed (20-25L per 100km) but whether it is worth or not, depends on the usage profile. Using the unmodified version to haul cargo over longer distances, would probably not be cost efficient. But if used as a "work horse" in own premises and for short trips, then considering the cheap price of the truck itself and its robustness and cheap maintenance, then it makes sense to have one around.
What i noticed is that the soviet vehicles are built simple with no extra bells and whistles... But they are very strong and just works 🙏👌👌👌👌💯good show again
Well, that was kinda important back than that it has to be as simple as possible. It’s probably not the best quality ( it’s really terrible ), but still, these cars can be fixed by everybody
I sold this truck to a new owner in May 2023 and it was moved by a tow truck to the location that you see in the video just the day before this clip was filmed. But even on my premises, it was never in such bad shape that it would have been stuck in the ground or something like that. The tires were inflated and the battery was charged constantly. However, it was not started properly or moved by it's own engine during last 9 years because the gasoline hoses were leaking on the pressure side or pulling air in from the vacuum side. Also many electrical issues that had developed over the last 9 years due to probable contacts corrosion. But in 2014, this machine passed the technical inspection with flying colours. Unfortunately I simply did not have time to deal with that and decided that, while still having an emotional attachment with this truck, I would better give it over to somebody who has a practical need for it and has more time and competence.

Oh myyyy Goood. This cars are my childhood.... I remember these trucks when I was a child in Ukraine and I used to come with my mother once a year on vacation. I liked the sound of their engines and their front end. For me then, as a small child, those round headlights and those turn signals at the bottom, were like the eyes and eyebrows of this car. And this blue and yellow one suited me as the flag of the country. I felt so nice. Thank You Flexiny for bringing back beautiful childhood memories.
