Well I like Casey more than severide no severride is not bad but I like Casey more and we all have different opinions and that is ok you like severide more and I like Casey more and that is ok. Most of season 1 is Kelly actively blaming Casey for Darden’s death, not being there during the Voight situation, publically accusing Casey of sleeping with Darden’s widow (which he never did,.) There’s orher examples through the seasons of Kelly being actively insubordinate. Their relationship has been frought with temporary animocity on BOTH sides. A lot of that can be chalked up to sloppy wroting and contrived tension foe the sake of eatablishing connections for Kelly and Casey with other characters.
The only reason Casey thought Severide couldn't take care of himself was Casey was too damn lazy to look for his own apartment and he knew he could mooch off of Severide
