SRK3 Grand Final 2nd Place (SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS BELGIUM) Go Karting

- My POV of SRK's SRK3 grand final race at SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS in Belgium.
I came 4th, 5th and 1st in my 3 heats prior with mixed classes on the grid.
I started the grand final in 2nd place behind Tommy Lee (absolute wonder kid in a go kart) and ended up being 5th before turn 1 was over :(
I managed to fight back and regained 2nd position and got a nice little trophy which was very nicely designed and unique I guess!
This karting circuit is in the middle of the Spa track (used in F1) and was an amazing experience to race here.
Was a very fun and lengthy day, huge thanks to Diego (SRK Admin) on organising and running this event as it was faultless.
We was suppose to have a team endurance race after these grand finals in 3 classes, but unforseen circumstances saw one of the staff members collapse and suffered injuries, meaning we had to sacrifice the endurance race as we waited for an ambulance for around 90 minutes.
I hope Diego will run more of these events in other countries as this was an awesome day and very enjoyable for all.

Hi Brad it's always so good to see you videos. I just had to tell you I got my first 59 at teamsport warrington yesterday I was well happy and also my PB went from 1:00.3 to a 59.4 in just TWO races 😀
Great to hear! It's the time of year to get new PBs there. What weight class are you in?
@Brad Jones Go-Karting I'm not exactly sure but I think I'm about 60 kg and I'm 51 years old backwards (just incase I don't want to get banned)
@@ollieuqueso728 realistically, this time of year, you can manage a low 58. High 57 after a but of experience around the track
If you do do club 100 do you know which class you're going to race in? Would like to be able to race with you, not sure i'd be able to keep up in fairness
I'd be in lightweights presumably. Think it's 75kg+ or something. I'm aiming to be 75kg in around 5 months time 👀
Hey Brad just did my 58.508 in the junior race last Monday and I won it but I’m still 3 tenths of the pace of my mate Rory the video will be out soon on my channel Anders lad and dad go-karting if you do watch it you don’t have to would you mind giving me a few tips
