Dear Hollie. You are emotional because of your big beautiful heart and that’s why we all love you. I’m so jealous of your white bench.I’ve had my eye one for awhile. It will be great for you vertically enhanced people. Possible video retitle “ Another off track day”😂
So glad you didn't get hurt. I hope you did the right thing and called the authorities to get the women the help she needs, not to get her in trouble, but the help before she really hurts someone. She should not be driving if she did not see you.
Glad your ok. There are some people that see a red light and stop in the middle of the intersection and are young and in there 20’s and 30’s. Just seen that with 2 different vehicles yesterday 🤦♀️.
Thank God that you were not hurt .And you are right people like that should not be able to get a driver's license . Please talk Care of your self .TAKE CARE .
I'm glad you're okay Hollie. Families definitely need to pay attention to their older family members, and accept that at some point, they'll probably need to take away their license.
I also think older family members need to watch the younger ones. Seems all age groups are distracted drivers and at unsafe speeds. I live on the East coast and a very affluent town has had about 4 deadly pedestrian and car accidents and many serious others in the last two weeks, 2 of the deadly were young drivers.
Independence is crucial to elderly folks still finding meaning for existence. Be very mindful of many things you can do BEFORE taking their keys away. Just getting a newer car with things like parking assist and lane change/drift warning can do wonders for improving their safety and that of others. Finding out how recently they’ve had their eyes checked. Do they have untreated cataracts? Do they need a cushion to sit on due to spine shrinkage? My Dad is 89 and still drives everywhere, very well. But we no longer let him drive across the country unaccompanied because we’re just playing it safe and he greatly enjoys the company. I don’t know if there was anything that could have been done for that driver with Hollie today or not. But just wanted to point out a few things. So glad you were OK Hollie!! And you absolutely did the right thing to go over and talk with her about it!!
Glad you are ok physically but yeah mentally at moment I can see point of break down you are being human just sharing your moment. Opinion I agree with you there a time hang it up . Wow cool tag love it . Be good item to sell on your site as merch . Rest of your stuff . Love table and cart .. Have blessed day.
Wow holy I'm glad you're okay. That could have went really bad for you.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤🤗🤗😘. Yes I agree with you there's some people that shouldn't be driving even to shopping cart. You take care girl.✌🏽✌🏽🤗😎.
Hollie, please do not think it was your fault, IT WAS NOT. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN HELD ACCOUNTABLE. PLEASE,PLEASE DONT STRESS, WE DO NOT LIKE SEEING YOU LIKE THAT. YOU ARE TOO WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL FOR TEARS. EVEN IF NESSIE WAS ROLLED OVER , NO TEARS PLEASE, NESSIE WOULD NOT LIKE IT.
Thank God you are ok Hollie I totally agree with you totally on the old drivers I am 68 and know when I get behind the wheel I gave a huge responsibility to be alert be safe thank you for your videos
Firstly, vlogging and driving isn't the safest thing at the best of times, please don't do it in an emotional state, it vastly increases your risk of a wreck. I took the keys off my dad at 85, it wasn't easy or fun but there comes a time when it is irresponsible not to do so. Love that adjustable-height workbench! I want one of those.
I'm so glad to hear that you were not hurt. It is tough to look after older family members. I know because the wife and I are doing that right now. You are so right about them not driving if they can't see people or just simple things. Prayers for you and Walter! Love the build!
So glad you are ok after your Home Depot incident and you are right. People know when they get to a point when they should not be behind the wheel and for some it’s hard to let go of their independence. The sad part is that most don’t have anyone to assist them in getting around. My heart goes out to those people but Holly you are right. When people get to that point in life they really do need to step back and ask for help instead of putting others in danger. Again glad you are ok
An ordinary trip to the store can end in disaster. An incident like that reminds us that life can change in an instant. Thankfully you didn’t get hurt!
My daughter works at the home depot in Thomaston GA and was hit by board off the rack that elderly person was trying to get the old man walked away with out saying a word, but security seen it before he left was told not to come back, great video keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe
All glad that you made it out alive Holly. I've never understood why people think that a parking lot is any different than a school zone. Years ago my father witnessed a car flying through a parking lot like it was an empty field. A small child walked out between parked cars and he witnessed that little girl hit and killed in a very horrific way. Ever since he relayed that story to me, I never go through a parking lot without following the isles and being mindful of pedestrians! This illustrates just how quickly life can change and how fragile it is.
A similar thing happened to a family friend of mine. A dump truck was going down a residential street and a young girl walked out from between two cars parked on the side of the road. So sad, and just a tragic accident. Then people wonder why some parents watch over their kids like a hawk.
Glad you are OK. people don't pay attention in parking lots. The ones that irritate me are folks that drive too fast in parking lots. Guess they think they are on the highway.
I was crossing the street at a stop sign with my dog. An older lady(I’m 76, so when I say older you get the idea) did not even hesitate at the stop sign. She could barely see over the dash, or maybe she couldn’t. Anyway she was going very slow and I was able to get clear of her without being hit but she kept going as if all was well.
Glad you are safe Hollie. That is pretty traumatic. You couldn't have said it better. When our capacity has dwindled to the point where we cannot function appropriately then we need to take a step back and reevaluate.
I am so glad you are ok Hollie . I don't blame you for being upset and I agree with you that some elderly people should not drive . Take care and catch you on your next video.
So glad you are okay physically. I can really understand the emotional impact of that scary incident. A man backed over my mom in a Walmart parking lot and knocked her down, then drove off. It scared her badly and bruised her up. I do volunteer work. One of the other volunteers who drives himself to the worksite is 98 years old.
Im glad your ok. I wish you had called the police to report it. Your too nice. I witnessed a shopping lot fatal accident. A 91 year old woman mistakenly floored the throttle thinking it was the brake and hit many cars . In the process hit and a mother and her son. I was just parking and got out of my truck and saw a dust cloud and heard someone groaning. 2 lanes away I saw a figure on the ground partially under a car. People were running to her aid and the fire department was already coming . It was very upsetting.
Hugs to you Hollie, you had me shedding a few tears too. I worry as Im getting older about when I will have to stop driving. Driving is my favorite thing to do to de-stress. Please do think about filing a report on her. Next time it might not be an adult she hits.
We are so happy you are quick on your feet. I have both those Items and they are great and work awesome I know you are going to enjoy having them in your shop. Keep up the great work and can't wait to see Nessie all finished
Hi Hollie 👋 I just got off a 12-hour night shift I got to my hotel and tuned in on your video just so I can tear up with you. I'm so glad your ok and your right when it pertains to certain people they shouldn't be driving. Again I'm so glad your ok .
As someone who has been in several accidents before, I can tell you that it gets stuck on your mind for a while. Good to hear that you weren't too seriously injured. I know with my current injuries now from a previous accident, if I took a hit like that and ended up on the ground, it would be game over for me. I wouldn't be moving without struggling to try.
Ive been there and had that happen as well Hollie and most seniors really need to have serious checks done to determin if they should have their tickets pulled. My own grand pa quit driving at the age of 75 only because he had lost the use of one of his eyes from a normal wear and tear. But he decided long befor he lost his sight to stop driving. Thanks be to the Heavenly Father he lived well into his late 90s.
Two things have kept me from having a bad day as a pedestrian and as a driver… Expect people to do the unexpected and don’t move until you have eye contact with the other person. A little patience is better than damage and injury.
Glad you’re ok ! I agree with you totally and it’s sad. Sooo many elderly are out there fending for their self. So many don’t have anyone else to take care of them. It’s even sadder that so many do have family yet the family has forgotten who raised them and are to lazy to help take care of the one who raised them as a child. I have an elderly buddy who’s a thorn sometimes lol, that’s what he calls himself. But his wife has dementia and he can hardly ever get out to do anything for taking care of her. He has family and children but none of them have seen this 75 year old man cry just to get out and have some peace for even just a few hours the way I have. He’s constantly asking me to come help him to stuff and he thinks he’s being a pain to me. But to take him somewhere and watch him cry because he just needed that little bit of relief....that’s sad. I as an adult love my parents and I could never let my father go through as much pain as this man has been through by not seeing where he needs help and helping him with her.
Hollie glad you're OK. You make a great point about people who need to be more careful. WELL SAID!! We all need to be reminded from time to time...Just one thing I would like to mention. THOSE WHO WHO TEXT AND DRIVE PLEASE DON'T!! I'm well aware that this wasn't the case but it is a major issue these days. I feel that texting wile driving is much worse than Drinking and driving, only because you're aware of what you're doing....It can wait people..Texting wile driving is not worth killing someone over.. About 4 months ago my nephew who was in a crosswalk at his place of work a Hospital and was hit by a car. The woman who is a colleague that hit him admitted she was clearly at fault by playing with her phone 📱..Texting.. He survived and will be ok. I gotta wonder what was so important on her phone that couldn't wait?? Anyway thanks for taking the time for reading this.. Be safe everyone. 🙏
I am very happy your okay. And the reason your so upset is because you are a kind and loving person. I enjoy watching you. Now you could stay home and probably not experience such things. But you wouldn't be happy or even be the person you are. So now remember and be vigilant and keep on enjoying life.
I live in Florida and I've always said that when you reach a certain age that the DMV should have you test on a driving simulator instead of just automatically renewing your license. It's scary, the things that I've seen on the road. I never trust someone else in a car to be doing the right thing. I guess since I started my driving privileges on a motorcycle, I keep my head on a swivel and drive defensively. Always expect the unexpected. My career was in OTR truck driving and very proud of the fact that I have over 3 million miles without an accident and counting. Glad your okay. Be safe out there people.
Glad you are OK. I can tell you that as an avid motorcyclist I trust no one driving anything. My head is constantly on a swivel, whether I'm walking, riding or driving.
Everyone needs to be spiritually ready, because it could all end in a split second. There may be no time to reflect and alter ones life before facing The Judge.
I am sorry that this happened to you, Holly. Please rest. You will be emotional about it for a little while, but as I said, relax. You are right about the fact that there comes a time that we as adult children have to take the car keys away from our parents, who will fight us on that. But the facts are that it is not only for the safety of others on the road, but for their own safety as well. It is also to protect their retirement too. God forbid they seriously injure someone, or worse, and they are sued, they could lose their home, and have to pay a huge settlement, and they would have difficulty paying for their medicine and food not to mention other bills. It is the hardest part as we get older having to protect our parents.
So glad you're ok, Hollie! What a miserable thing to have in your experience. I'm sensing a visit with MischiefMaker and some rocks may be beneficial. Take care of yourself!
sorry you had a rubbish day and glad you wasn't hurt. I think a nice meal out and a couple of drinks might be what you need. Hope you both have a great new year.
Sorry to hear of your bad experience.. People have to be responsible for their actions. Hard to believe they hit your cart and "didnt realize" I ran into you. Especially after you were knocked to the ground. Some sorry people behind the wheel. Glad to hear you are physically ok‼️🥰
I just moved to southern Utah from a more populated area and I can assure you, the people here in Washington county drive EXTREMELY DANGEROUSLY. We just had a fatality 2 days before in front of Costco. You would think all the children playing in the streets would deter fast drivers, nope. In my residential area, people drive 50+ in a 25 daily. Kids lives don’t matter to drivers. In addition I see many people driving at night without headlights on regularly. I rarely saw this before. It would be awesome if Matt’s off road would do a PSA on driving safely and wearing a seatbelts as it is common here to not wear one. I love Utah and the freedoms here are awesome, but there is huge room for improvement in driving safety, seatbelt usage, and vehicle safety. Glad you are ok!
So glad u are ok everyone takes life for granted. That could have been really bad and thankfully everyone is good. Love the license plate that's amazing!! Love what u do on this channel u are amazing!!!
Glad you and Walter weren't hurt. Either of those situations could have been very bad. A side note on your Husky adjustable workbench, the bottom leg support should be able to bolt near the casters allowing the bench to fit around a tire. We use the same bench while working on aircraft.
Wow, thanks for the advice on the bench, I’ll definitely be moving it so we can store things underneath the bench! I honestly get the best advice from my subscribers - you rock😊🤘🏻
Sorry about the accident, can't believe she didn't stop! Glad you are OK. Every time I go to home depot somthing weird happens, and I have to go somewhere else to get everything I need. I've even built a couple of houses using them, but they moved and split up their plumbing section. Now I only use Lowe's and can get all I need in one stop and in less time. That's one awesome jeep!
Hollie you had a close call with my greatest fear. I retired from 34 years of working on the highway and survived. To die or be injured in a parking lot would be a sad ending to me!
OMG!! What a trooper you are. So glad you are safe!! Emotions are a powerful reminder for both good and bad. Love you Hollie and Walter! Keep up the great videos and an air hug from all your loyal fans!!
A similar incident happened to me except I was pushing my son in his stroller. Dude was looking one way for a break in traffic and not me. Unfortunately his break in traffic occurred when I was in front of his car. If I hadn't given the stroller an almighty push....the horror of "what if" will stick with you for a bit but not forever. I'm so sorry you had to experience that but glad you're okay physically.
Glad your ok Hollie. I just got back from Walmart, I went at opening time for the very reason you discussed. I dont wish to get run down in the parking lot and I stack the odds in my favor every time I can.
I am happy you are okay! I'm even happier that you found an adjustable bench. Ergonomics is important to back safety and worker state of mind. Between Sir Walter at 6'10" and you at 6' you both cannot work comfortably on the same bench so kudos to you Young Lady. You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
👍❤️ Glad you’re okay,
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
Glad you are Okay 👍 👌
Dear Hollie. You are emotional because of your big beautiful heart and that’s why we all love you. I’m so jealous of your white bench.I’ve had my eye one for awhile. It will be great for you vertically enhanced people. Possible video retitle “ Another off track day”😂
So glad you didn't get hurt. I hope you did the right thing and called the authorities to get the women the help she needs, not to get her in trouble, but the help before she really hurts someone. She should not be driving if she did not see you.
Ditto
Glade to see you were not hurt.
Omg what the crap is wrong with people. I’m so sorry,I hope your day is going better now. You guys be safe.
Good morning Hollie and Walter!
You are correct Holly but not everybody has someone but those who do should
So glad you are okay. scary.
You should report this to the police anyway, she is a danger to people! Glad you are ok, but wow, that is so scary.
Gray just said “where is Walter, Hollie needs a hug right now”. Glad you are okay, just pretty rattled.
She just got more VIEWS THAN SUBS. HER PLAN WORKED. 84K HUGS!

We had to stop my dad driving as cancer got the better of him. Luckily he had the family to take him anywhere.
So glad you are ok. I hope you feel ok tomorrow after the adrenaline rush wears off. Be safe.
🤗 Sending you a hug!
When my Elderly Mother said "I''m Not Driving Anymore"
was one of the greatest "Reliefs" of my Life
Thank god you are ok
WOW! Sounds like that lady should not be driving. I am glad that you are okay Hollie , Big HUGS to you!!
I am very glad you are OK 👍 have a great day.
It’s really sad these days, so many elderly people being neglected or taken advantage of. Great to see things coming along on the shop!!

Glad you're okay! Scary.
My prayers are with you 🙏❤
Wow! Just UNBELIEVABLE! I’m glad that you were NOT SERIOUSLY HURT! 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️🩹 Sending Hugs n Loves!!
It is scary! Glad you were not hurt. Wish we did a better job of taking care of our elderly. God bless you.
Your SO awesome.
I love your uplifting objective on everything.
You got this ! No more tears !
I am glad you are ok! Love that cart. Love the inventions that make shop life more efficient.
I'm so glad to hear that you were not hurt. It is tough to look after older family members. I know because the wife and I are doing that right now. You are so right about them not driving if they can't see people or just simple things. Prayers for you and Walter! Love the build!
Glad you're OK. They drive like that and worse in California. Especially, Los Angeles. They hit you at high speed and drive off all the time here.
So glad you are ok after your Home Depot incident and you are right. Its important hat relatives and doctors make sure that you dont drive when your health is impending your abiity to drive.

Glad you are OK. I can tell you that as an avid motorcyclist I trust no one driving anything. My head is constantly on a swivel, whether I'm walking, riding or driving.
I'm glad you are unscathed. Also, understand that feeling.
Ditto, glad you're ok. It's hard when you're on your own and have no one to help with even the little things. God bless, stay well.
Love so sorry you had that terrible experience 💔 glad you did not get physically injured 😢

So glad you're ok. I agree with you there are dome that need to stop driving.
Holly, so glad you’re okay, watching you after the accident…you were in Shock, I felt so bad for you.😢
I am sorry that this happened to you, Holly. Please rest. You will be emotional about it for a little while, but as I said, relax.
Oh my God! I am so glad you are ok. She shouldn't be allowed to drive any more. That's super scary.
So glad you're ok, Hollie! What a miserable thing to have in your experience. I'm sensing a visit with MischiefMaker and some rocks may be beneficial. Take care of yourself!
Holy crap I'm glad you're okay! That's got to be frightening as all get out! People sometimes just don't have all their awareness which isn't great.
sorry you had a rubbish day and glad you wasn't hurt. I think a nice meal out and a couple of drinks might be what you need. Hope you both have a great new year.
Glad you are ok, relax
Keep doing what you guys do and God bless you and your family's
Sorry to hear of your bad experience.. People have to be responsible for their actions. Hard to believe they hit your cart and "didnt realize" I ran into you. Especially after you were knocked to the ground. Some sorry people behind the wheel.
Glad to hear you are physically ok‼️🥰
Glad you are okay Lady! people just don't think at times!
I'm glad you're okay Hollie, I am grateful for every day, Take nothing for granted.
Definitely great advice! Thank you!
Thank GOD you are ok Hollie!!!
I am sorry this has happened to you Hollie! Sending ghost hugs from Minnesota! We love ya girl!🤘🤘
Glad that you are Ok and it was just a bad experience. Hope that lady goes home and gives her keys to a responsible person to drive the next time!
Hollie you had a close call with my greatest fear. I retired from 34 years of working on the highway and survived. To die or be injured in a parking lot would be a sad ending to me!
Walter sitting like a rent-a-cop on his phone guarding the door. Probably watching RUclips. 😂
You are in my prayers
