Could someone tell me why Chiba was referring to Mexican culture, since this song has the name of Mexico. Could someone tell me why they used the image of the "Virgin of Guadalupe", a religious symbol in Mexico? Finally, another reference that I found is that in the song Chealse by TMGE it also refers to the beginning of the song in a verse, I have these doubts why Chiba made references to the mexican culture.
Chiba did not speak much about his lyrics or his religion, so we never know about them. Although many different countries appear in Chiba's lyrics, the fact that The Birthday's logo features Calavera and that Chiba graduated from a missionary school certainly indicates that he had a strong interest in Mexican culture and Christianity. Both this song and Chelsea feature Mexico as a motif for a country with a hot, dry climate, so perhaps Mexico is a symbolic place of such a climate for him. Not sure why Acapulco appears in "Taiyo wo Tsukande Shimatta"...
@@InfectedJP Thank you very much for your comment, I know that Japanese artists are very reserved in their private lives. But I appreciate your information. I was very curious that Chiba would make some Mexican references, Because I'm from Mexico and it's kind of surprising that someone from Japan loves a different culture. Dios Bendiga a Yusuke Chiba ❤️🔥🙏🏻
