Hello Oluchi! I just started using it last week. I incorporated it into my skincare routine with other products I was previously using in this order: after my cleanser>>Paulas Choice BHA >> Good Molecules Nacinamide Brightening toner >>Good Molecules Discoloration Serum >> Origins Night-A-mins Resurfacing cream. Is it okay for me to continue using it along with those products and in this order?
I’d advise you keep it simple to avoid irritation-
Option 1.cleanser- BHA- moisturiser ( preferably night time) maximum 2x a week.
Option 2- cleanser-niacinamide toner-discolouration serum-hydrating moisturiser( not the origins)
Option 3- cleanser - toner- Origins High-Potency Night-a-Mins Oil-Free Resurfacing Night Cream .
You can alternate them, please DO NOT USE ALL OF THEM IN THE SAME ROUTINE!!!
Remember to wear broad spectrum spf daily.
I had a feeling they may be too much together, Thank so much for clarifying that and for the options.
Please I use this after my laroshe posay cleanser… but they both sting😩😩💔
@taiwotakuro1977 it means it is harsh for you, or maybe you over use it. How often do you use it?
It may also mean that your skin barrier is compromised so you need to focus on repairing it, stop using actives for a couple of weeks and use gentle hydrating products… ruclips.net/user/shortsFj0ogablcB8?si=ilBEaXAq0c5IFnIV
Hi! I wanted to ask if it’s ok to use retin-a on the days I’m not using Paula’s Choice?
Yes, but be sure you skin can handle it, if you notice sensitivity/ irritation, then skip Paula’s choice and stick to your retin-a .
Exfoliate sparingly to avoid irritation.
@@OLUCHIONUIGBOMa please can I use alpha Albutin with Paul choice?
@Evangelist_EstherEyituoyo depends on your skin, you can give it a shot. But I would advise you to always keep your routine simple, instead use each active in different routines.
@@OLUCHIONUIGBO ok ma
Thanks babe! bcos i noticed it dried up my skin.I have a normal skin.Did u say Aha is ok for normal skin.My goal is to moisturize my skin.
AHA, lactic acid ,Mandelic acid will do, remember to exfoliate maximum 2times a week depending on your skin condition. Also invest in hydrating products such as hyaluronic acid serum, essence, hydrating moisturisers and broad spectrum spf
Very informative viedeo. I used it once only and I noticed my skin is peeling. I noticed most of my skin care products have niacinamide. Can I use them alongside this exfoliant?
You can, Use them on separate routines or on different days.
Thanks for this Oluchi, very helpful. In line with keeping it simple (and affordable lol) are toners really needed or can they be skipped? Like can one just do cleanse, BHA exfoliate (on the nights that you use it) snail serum, moisturise? Same for the day minus the BHA
I'm someone thats got some blemishes/ scarring/hyperpigmentation (from previous spots I picked 🤦🏽♀️) that I need to get rid of 😢
You are welcome 🙏
Toners are optional, you do not absolutely need to add them to a simple routine especially if you exfoliate weekly.
Does twice a week mean 2days and 2nights a week ?
Two nights 😊
What if l have dry acne prone skin. You said dont use if you have dry skin
If you have dry skin, and you have acne, then something must be clogging your pores… acne and oily skin go hand in hand.
Thanks for this video. I use BHA Paula's choice every other day and with sunscreen but i notice my face gets darker than my other body parts but my face becomes clearer after 2 to 3 days of not using the product. I have similar experience when i use retinol as well and i don't use the two on the same routine. Pls is there anything i am doing wrong ? This is my 7th week of using these products
Maybe they are not suitable for your skin type, or you should start off gradually, use either one - to two nights a week, make sure you are not using them in the day, and wear broad spectrum SPF daily ( very important ) also incorporate antioxidants such as vitamin C in your morning routine to help brighten the skin.
Thank you so much for this
@@OLUCHIONUIGBO pls do you have any recommendation for vitamin C serum that is good?
hello dear, nice video, but i heard people say you can use a vitamin c serum after using this
It may cause irritation to the skin, it's best not to complicate things.
Some people might tolerate it, others won't.
I tried vitamin c serum the next day and felt my skin very itchy... Why?
Hello dear ,i have serave cleanser and moisturizer i just had this one today, can i used all together
@LindaMokonzi if it's the hydrating range, then yes you can
Thank you so much for this video
Please which other skincare products goes well with this products for acne prone skin, ranging from cleanser to spf? Help a sister!
Azelaic acid
@@OLUCHIONUIGBO thank you for this . Can I use Paula choice azelaic acid after exfoliating with this ? Please I would also appreciate it so I don’t burn my skin🙏🙏🙏. I have an acne prone skin and a little bit sensitive.
Hi, its always best to keep your routine simple especially if your skin is sensitive, you can use the exfoliant every other night and azelaic acid in the day time, remember to wear your SPF in the day.
@@OLUCHIONUIGBO thanks a lot . Much appreciated
Thank you for this! Once my skin changes to dry, I had to stop!
