Thank you Tank! Music is kind of a passion for me since im 14 years old! For the last 2 ears there are coming crazy things on my schedule. Im Happy people can enjoy my passion as well :)
Production-wise, can we also appreciate how it's been shot in 4:3 format? That alone almost gave me more nostalgia than all of the other 90s references. 😂
Man, Tank, you wouldn't believe how much I'm learning from you - as a German!! I'm 58 years old and obviously so out of touch that I had no idea what Buffalos are! And through your channel I'm hearing more German music than in the past 30 years or so on my own. 🤣🤣 I believe it was one of your videos that made me aware of Electric Callboy, and now Kalle Koschinsky. Both are GREAT! So, thank you!! 😄
Kalle seems like the guy you have in every group of friends. The one who doesnt take himself serious, is always in for a good night and i just basically a straight up good vibe around him. I know he is a guest artist in germany in a few of electrics shows, but i would love to have him tour with EC as they're all just sort of 1 anyway. Loved his spandrau x castrop aswell ❤
I'm really impressed how well you pronounce the 257ers! When I remember earlier days you made a huge progress with your German! It sounds very well, really! Keep it up, Tank and you will become very good speaking German. I'm sure it will sound like you lived over here for years with very little accent then!
Hello, my English is not as good as it should be, but everything that Finch, Kalle, or Electric Callboy do, they do with the feeling they once felt and you notice that and you just live this feeling again and that that's a good thing. It all happens across the years and different styles of music, but it's awesome. Thank you Tank for sharing this again with the support of your own enthusiasm. All this google translator! Sincerely Tackle!
Don't think i have seen anything music related that has been bad where Kalle or Nico has been involved. So cool to witness these peoples careers. I have nothing but love for them. That said, your reactions are always so fun and relatable. Hope you do some tour vlogs when touring with Electric Callboy. That would be so fun to watch.
Another thing that makes this feel '90s (besides all the set and music video stuff) is that the entire thing is shot in 4:3. No widescreen 16:9 formatting for you! As soon as you go back to that old 'square' ratio any video feels '90s!
as a 2000s Aussie kid, I get all the references here, the culture is ~10-15 years behind, so I experienced it all weirdly enough, I know people who had a black and blue Starter jacket and yeah, Docs and Vans were waaaaay bigger here than Buffalos. and the rubber braclet things never died here, people STILL wear them
As a kid born in 88 in australia i can confirm that we we're 10-15 years behind...it just stuck around a lot longer...and now we have reverted to 90s grunge and 80s haircuts. It is a strange land
The last part was exactly what i said on his making of video - i love his voice and ideas and the people he works together (like daniel, christoph, the shillo brothers) just freakin SKYROCKET the production quality of everything and i fuckin love it.
OMG tbt the 90's when i was a teenager and also my time @university. Parties, afterparties, clubs/discotheques,... And definitely buffalo's or other sort of schoes with those heels. We also wore the clothing brand Zino & Judy😅🙈
Thank you again Tank for showing us this music and letting us join and enjoy the music with you! Seeing you enjoy the music, helps me enjoy it more too 🙂 this one honestly slipped under the radar for me! So thank you! Over 20 listens now 😂
This one really grew on me. I'm not a fan of the whole boyband non-singing Nico is doing here, but the beat just gets you, and as a german 90s kid this hits home all the way (except for the buffalos, I was a converse kid through and through) Annnddd now the guys really have to bring you a crate of Robby Bubble when they come to the states😂 I felt like an absolute boss when I drank that stuff as a kid🤣
I wish my German was in a better state, but I get huge nostalgia vibes from this track. I love that he didn't just go for what was cool in the 90s, he went for what was cool to a child in the 90s. Beyond all that though, the song really brings it. That beat is huge. I like that there isn't too much repetition and it's catchy as hell.
Impressed by how your German seems to be coming along! Sehr Gut, Herrn Panzer.! Fun German music to add to your playlist: Jan Delay, Peter Fox, Toten Hosen, Die Ärzte. Also some German indie stuff if you dig that stuff: Kettcar, Tomte, Tocotronic, Thees Uhlmann, Marcus Wiebusch and maybe the weird & wonderful Fortuna Ehrenfeld
Man , looking at those starter jacket , were i grew up in very rural Canada , we used to see those all the time going down the slopes as kids. theres even like full snowsuit clones of them! i remember having a full teal with yellow and pink accents.
I love this song because of all the references, Nico's voice and the beat. Rubbi Bubble was the drink I always had at my birthday and New Year's Eve the day after as a kid by the way. I was born in 1999 but I got to know a ton of 90s stuff too
The Part with the Center Shock gum I can absolutely relate to this. Every morning before I went to school, we went to a little shop and bought us some of these.
Just bought a floor ticket for Pittsburgh (sept 9) … a nice 2 hour drive from cleveland. After watching the Hellfest set yesterday I just have to be a part of this. I am hooked
Buffalos were so big in France in the early 2000s too. If you were a goth/metal kid, chance you were either rocking a pair of Dr Martens boots, of NewRock boots or of Buffalo
same in Belgium, vans and DC's where also very popular. And I think the men from the metal scene preferred ABL over Dr Martens, those where more a Goth thing

the thing about Kalle making "good music" is that he doesn't try to take the lyrics too seriously, similar to EC with like Hypa Hypa or We got the Moves. Meine Buffalos is not my kind of music generally but its a fun song
Is that a Ferraro in the background lol? The tie dye shirt over a long sleeve lol. Line Dancing..omg the LL Cool Js hat and every baseball cap in the US turned backwards😂😂😂I feel so old.
As a German, my 90s outfit was baggy pants, airwalks, flannel shirt, t-shirt, base cap, walk-man, inline skates (when I wasn't wearing airwalks), friendship bracelet (from girls that liked me), wallet on a chain, swatch, cannabis symbol on a leather necklace. Listening to 90s rave and punk music. Hair was a self-made Nick Carter cut (but with undercut, so I could switch to skater ponytail)

Kalle and Nico, ya, this is a huge banger of a song, Major Kudos to you and your team
As far as i remember, there was only one guy in my school in Germany, who was wearing Buffalos. He was a really small greek guy and with his Buffalos he was at least as tall as the girls.
@TanktheTech 100% that beat goes hard, like really hard and I'm not mad about it. I'm probably a little older than most of the commentors so I didn't get the shoe reference, but now I know. Always learn something from your posts. ✌
I looooved my cheetah Buffalos in my teens in the late 90's, so much so that I treated my adult self to a black pair a few years ago. Still use them! I for sure think they were a much bigger deal in Europe tho, with the whole eurotechno/raver vibe. In Sweden they were THE shoe to have, and you definietly got called out if you had the knock offs.
Man! I used to love my Air Walk! Still wear Vans and Converse 'cause they're so damn comfy ... Now I need to get my arse in gear and replace my Docs, and maybe track down some Buffalos in my size 😂
That is such a fantastic parody of all the german gangsta-rap that is currenty around such a lot here. :D It sounds exactly like it, only poking fun by not talking about crimes, drugs or guns, but kids' stuff. :D
Little funny story how Buffalos saved a trip to an amusement park: I was in an amusement park with friends when I was a kid (maybe 13 at that time), and they had go carts, but you had to be at least 150cm in height to drive and the guy checking that was very strict about that. I was 2cm short, and he didn't allow me to drive. One of my friends was a giant back then (175cm at the age of 13), wore Buffalos and I had the same shoe size...one shoe swap later we had the best cart race ever and so much fun!
Thank you Tank! Music is kind of a passion for me since im 14 years old! For the last 2 ears there are coming crazy things on my schedule. Im Happy people can enjoy my passion as well :)

Kalle makes me happy. The mans smile is pure joy.
Kalle and Nico is something we don't know we need so bad! just freaking epic
I'm not sure if I like this one or Castrop X Spandau better. Both are so good. Dream duo!

Loved that ultra zoom on the "we're gonna check it out"! This songs slaps hard! Loved it.
