😆The gap in the middle is to allow the 20% Addams case and plate to accommodate two 10% modules that will be released in the future. The Lego geometry is the secondary reason.
The gap looks to be about one stud wide, so my guess is that the baseplate is just slightly too wide, and combining smaller baseplates would mean more overall cost.
Im having issues using both the Adam and Addams concurrently. my computer and Vial can detect each of them, but not concurrently together. Wonder if you could share where I could have gone wrong?
@@AlexPerez-yy4ex Thanks for this. My Addams had the Adam firmware on it. I tried overwriting it with the Addams firmware but kept getting an error. So then I deleted the Adam firmware, reconnected and manually put the Addams firmware on it. Finally works after over a year of troubleshooting smh

@@NijjarHD I got mine to work, needed to re-install the firmware to separate Adam from Addams. Problem was they both had the same firmware

Good point, I did not consider that angle. Guess that's why I went into software engineering rather than structural engineering ;)
