Half cup of COLD water and half cup of WHITE vinegar. Wet boot with just water. Then scrub bootwith vinegar water with towel or sponge . I've finished give one last coat of just water to wash vinegar off. ( Once dry they won't smell like vinegar at all). Then all stains gone!
You can re dye the boots and since they are black it'll be easier to match color. I've done it to my timberlands before. I use angelus suede and nubuck dye
Awesome ! ! ! My favorite pair are faded , so if you could be so kind I have a few questions for you, I have never used protector on them but I am thinking about it but I would assume that dying first then protector would be ok , what do you think ? How do you use the dye, is it difficult ? Is there a specific brand of dye that is better / easier? Thankyou in advance 😊
I found that Vo5 ( 2 in 1 ) shampoo plus soy based conditioner cleans suede very well. Add a splash of vinegar to the water. Used on outside and on the wool inside ( rinse wiped with damp towel) all dried very soft, and clean
Your so sweet. I’m 64 years young. I just subscribed to your videos, I enjoyed it so much: and you’re not cheap you’re frugal you’re not gonna waste your money on items where you can do it yourself at home with basic supplies like vinegar and water and Dawn and all that I’m sure the oven cleaner is just another no propaganda or whatever you wanna call it OK well I just wanted you to know that I just joined your channel and I’m gonna tell my sister about you too I want to see what else you do I have I was want to clean my UGGs and that was the way I looked it up and you popped up but I want to see what other things you do it I heard you say Poshmark and my daughter does the same thing with Poshmark thank you and have aGreat weekend love Karen Long Beach New York
Thank you so very much for this video, Val, its awesome. So now I will just have to try it on my booties. They are not in nearly the condition that these were in and they are not uggs. I am trying to clean suede heels and ankle booties. I will definitely give this a try and see how it works. You da bomb-digity!
no problem gratia!!! i need to pick up a pair of brown uggs from the bins to experiment on them too! i find them all the time but theyre always so filthy that no one wants to take the time to clean them. but this method was really good and fast (in my opinion lol). let me know how the shoes come out!
they look so nice!! I'm gonna try on some light tan uggs i have that i wore last year, same problem with all the ice and salt up here in NY. what size are those?? i want some black ones for this year!
do you watch Nicole State? shes another reseller that makes videos. she has a video where she uses the ugg brand cleaner to clean up a bunch of ugg shoes. ill add it to my list of videos to make! i think it would be fun to compare the two side by side! thank you!! -Val
Valerie, this video is kicking some serious ass! 👀 Check out those views! 😁👏🔥 They turned out pretty dang good; thanks for sharing your ways with us! 😊
I need help PLEASE i was in school walking out the cafeteria when this bum ass boy spilled milk on my brand new uggs. I was mad as shit the stains are real dark what can i do. Any suggestions??
ive seen other videos of people using similar techniques on the brown ones. ive even seen people soak their brown ones in the water solution lol. i dont think id recommend soaking them but i think the brown ones would do just fine with this technique. next brown pair i find ill try it out!😊
Valamilk Yes. The problem with that advice is that UGGs are incredibly warm and comfortable in snow! I’d go through whatever to be able to wear them in Minnesota. And I have! I will try this next.
I think baby shampoo is used because it’s a more gentle solution. But a gentle/ more natural shampoo might also work (I would dilute it a little extra just to be safe)

Even for mud stains??
Is there something that you know of for the fading of the dye after cleaning? Please help 😥

This is one of my favorite valamilk videos to date! So informative and fun to watch!! Vlogtober is looking good on you! 😎🤙🏻
aww thanks Will ❤😊 (and sorry for the late response, youtuber level expert 😂).
Why didn’t you use a 50-50 water, vinegar solution? In my experience that takes salt stains off.
It’s not cheap, it’s frugal:)
Needed this video to clean my wife's Uggs. :)

Awesome How to video!!!

I used dawn and water
I need help PLEASE i was in school walking out the cafeteria when this bum ass boy spilled milk on my brand new uggs. I was mad as shit the stains are real dark what can i do. Any suggestions??
Milk contains oil. Treat them as oil stains by using chalk or corn starch to pull up the oil.
Does this work on light mud stains???
does this work on brown ones?

Valamilk okay thank you so much!
You're not suppose to wear Uggs in the snow or ☔ they get damaged i googled it.
ive heard that too. but i dont think many people listen lol. i guess lucky for me, then they end up being donated lol
