Glad you do best Tuesday! I originally wanted a beige one but it sold , the seller had this red one left and was the better deal at the time in terms of price, now I like the red ones 😅
Thank you Aidan! Simplex was definitely ahead of their time , these are Regular smart sync true alert , both the 4006 and 4010 system have the same model on it rn which is the 4903-9418, one has a slightly different reflector (missing the two prongs sticking out) , both 110CD , as for the pulls the 4006 has a 2099-9754 Tbar , and the 4010 has the 4099-9006 addressable dual action Tbar
@@EmillioMelendez I've actually noticed the difference in the reflector designs! QuickAlerts don't have those prongs sticking out. A lot of people don't. And due to the cover plate, I'd say your QuickAlert was made in later 2000 somewhere between the 26th and 52nd week of 2000 due to the font change 1999 and early 2000 QuickAlerts have a brighter font similarly to the newer TrueAlert ES Addressable models. And isn't the 110CD fixed model the 4903-9419? Think the 9418 is 75CD and 9417 is 15.
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554wow! Thats pretty nice to know, these are fixed 110CD, they have the sticker on reflector, this 4010 is from 2002 which happened to be the year I was born 😂
@@EmillioMelendezWow, nice! I was born in 2005, one of the first 2 years when they had multi candela SmartSync TrueAlerts in the market and discontinuation of Fixed Candela SmartSync models. 4 Wire TrueAlerts fixed candela only and Addressable models have a different timeline and history of replacements.
@@aidanthetoiletelevatorfire7554that’s pretty interesting, the true alerts stood the test of time for sure they don’t even look like a 90s alarm despite being them, 2005 was when the 4006 came out and I believe they still make the 4006 to this day for small buildings that want conventional
I’ve always liked the red color on these classic simplex panels, my friend also has a red 4010 and it’s definitely fun to see in person

Got for $350 which is dirt cheap for a 4010 especially in good condition so had to jump on it no matter the color , but it grew on me :D

This is so cool! I just truly love Simplex! Looks like you got a QuickAlert on the system. What's its model number?
