While I don't imagine it makes that much difference, I would have liked to have seen the Dyson curled the correct direction so that you can see a more accurate comparison in how the curls look
I was thinking the same thing, I think this is an unfair side by side comparison. I think it would make a difference as blow waving away from the face gives way more volume towards the face. It also seemed on the Dyson side she didn’t take it all the way to the root.
I'm glad someone else had the same experience I did! Bought both. My hairstylist and best friend both swore I needed the Dyson. I see little difference between the two and prefer the Sharks blowout and heat!

Was wondering if when using the shark wand, if you could just bend the elbow of the dryer and hold it upside down to do every other curl instead of switching?
I bought the Dyson and after a year it stopped working. Dyson's customer service is HORRIBLE and after two months of sending in my Airwrap through warranty, I still don't have it back or any answers. I keep getting the same response "the warehouse hasn't received your device" even though UPS proof of delivery said it was received BY DYSON. I will be switch to the Shark!
Just got the shark airwrap and my hair keeps dropping! Doing everything it’s saying to keep the curl in after like 30 mins! I feel I’m the only one saying it doesn’t work! 😩
Have you tried lowering the heat and using the cool shot for the last 30 seconds of the curl, and then pinning it? That and hairspray made a difference for me, but overall its not going to have the same level of hold as a curling iron. After having my Shark Flexstyle for 5 months now, I have stopped using my straightener or curling iron altogether and have noticed a significant difference in the health of my hair (e.g. less brittle or dead ends). -2c/3a Curly Hair
Try a salt spray on the curl after you've curled it. I have fine hair and the curls ONLY stay if I use a salt spray on each individual curl. I use the blue and yellow Schwartzkopf
Hi new to all kinds of hair styling really lol i usually blow dry and use straightening irons ghd and only curl for special occasions. But i want an all in 1 option and currently in early jan sales the dyson is only a few quid more than shark so practically same price. But my question is which do you feel gives a straighter look please?
Got the shark, it's great, but 3 issues, barrel size is large so u only get the blow-dry effect no curls, the round brush is massive and u cant do your bangs, cool shot is useless takes 20 seconds to cool. Buttt i still love it, volume is amazing, and wont spend on dyson

I can’t believe the Dyson missed the curly hair opportunity. So dumb on their part. We need Shark it is! I was getting so frustrated with you not showing how you actually curled it in the comparison?! That’s the most important part! If we can’t see the differences in wrapping what’s the point? Looking for a new video 🙄
Shark now sells accessories you can purchase separately including a smaller barrel for tighter curls.
I really want to try the Shark Flexstyle, love that it has a diffuser too because I like to wear my hair naturally curly too. 👏🏼

They have come out with a round (not oval) brush as well as smaller barrels!!!

You forgot to use the cold shot before released the curls
so the curls fall even after using a hairspray?
