I have followed Aurora now for 7 years and I have never been so moved emotionally at a first listen,this goes straight to the top of my playlist, Aurora quotes

And hidden.

It was released on the 8th of November 2023
Layered meaning ... vocally magnificent -- creative use of background vocals -- the layer with the 'vocal synth' / Aurora having recorded her own voice note by note, then utilizing these notes instrumentally via a synthesizer!
For me it is about complexity of human relations and emotions and the need to open on other humans or talk about your emotions and/or problems. Even on the video you can see that something is untold. Emotions? Problems? Pain? It is family, maybe even they love each other but there is some barrier. They dont open up, dont talk about this problem or emotions. They are together but almost like alone.
Ps. It is also interesting that she used a voice filter in verses and this filter reminds me a phone call - maybe is is just coincidence but it can be also related and f.e. to show some distance between them or emulate situations that everyone lives their life and they have only sporadic contacts etc.
Her videos are great, but to focus on her voice and lyrics it is best to watch her live. And you can admire her personality, at the same time :)
This video is telling the story of the song so well, it represents a disconnected family isolated in the conflict of their minds. The empty clothes, to me, show how they are present physically but not mentally there together. I love this song so much it is probably my favorite Aurora song, which is saying a lot because I have so many that battle for top spot all the time. I would suggest live performances, her expressions and movements convey the story of the song too, as much as I love her music videos, I prefer her live. Thanks for reacting to my favorite artist, I hope to see more Aurora on your channel soon.
Aurora wrote something like this that its nothing more painful than seeing the onese you love in pain but at the same time beautifull because you can be there for someone

It fills my heart up and it breaks me at the very same time" i think the conflict can be about what we can do for the person that is in pain and how our selfs handle it because it also effect you. I guess it is the some like mine: It fills your heart up as he "opened gates for you" / "lowered the barrier" + you can try to help, but in the some time it "breaks you" as it is painfull to watch someone suffers (especially someone related).

I had a hardship wirh my mum for long time but after I got it cleared how she really feel for me - there's love behind the curtain of confliction,confusion and unhealed version of herself, i understood this song completely. It's right song at the right time for me.

She wants everybody to find their own meaning in her lyrics, although this one is not as "challenging" as many of her other songs IMO. I definitely recognize what goes on at that table, and reading the comments on her page it seems it resonates with a lot of people. The fact it does't look familiar to you guys is a good thing after all 😄. I like this one a lot.
