We miss Mike in my household but we are grooving tonight in Arizona! It's not going to be the same without you buddy! But you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers and we are fans forever!
This song takes me back to processing to return home from Vietnam in May of 1969. I remember it playing at a snack bar that was something like a Frosty Freeze at the big base near Saigon. For the last year I had not been near anything like this...A Frosty! Funny how a song triggers a memory of a time and place.
I am saddened at the report that Mike has passed away. He brought so much joy to others sharing his musical talent. I m so sad. I pray God comforts his family. We will miss him and his music. Seems we owe him so much. I am sorry and thank Joshua for sharing his memorial service with us. Perhaps he is in that great angel band worshiping our savior at this moment. Selah.
Mike, you just keep on Boogie’n. ♥️🎼🎶You’re never going to be too old to Boogie. I remember this piece. Didn’t know the group ,but the song ,yes. The Nuns wouldn’t let me learn Boogie Woogie and at the age I was in third grade ,I lost interest in lessons. My mistake. I needed to learn the classical music to be able to play the Boogie. ♥️🎼🎶Boogie on down ,Baby. 🎶😂Chris🥀
Hello Mike, Listening to your performance I Subscribed, I cannot help but to think about Walter Weatherly and his great playing, I love the B-3 and now the grandee, Thank you.

Hi Mike, I wish you just the best for 2023. I hope you will be healthy again.
Greetings from Bavaria
The Hammond is the Lincoln Continental of the organ world, and Mike Reed has the perfect touch for this wonderful instrument.
Mike's videos pop up on my RUclips feed every day-RIP, sir-you are sorely missed!

Awesomeee!!! I wish I could play a Hammond organ, but they are too expensive. Also, I don't even think they sell it here (Brazil) :(
WOW!!!!!
EXCELLENT
yes you are Mike 10/6/21
Was there a Leslie hooked up to this organ? Man I miss those 60’s and 70’s sound on the organ!
Yes Mike has a leslie 700 connected to his 1974 Hammond Grandee.
MIKE, Sou muito seu fã.
Meu nome é Javert, sou de Araraquara SP/ Brasil.
Qual modelo é o seu Hammond?
Maravilhoso, Abraço!!!
Smokin' by Boston might be an idea...?
You're very polished -- I don't see how you can keep track of all those switches (or stops?) and keep the music flowing
Exelente
What kind of model of Hammond organ is this?
***** this is a Hammond Grandee organ, from 1974, with a Leslie 700 speaker...thanks for listening!
