Bench and Snow Lakes Trail Hike Washington - Mount Rainier National Park - Epic Day Hike - AMAZING!

Bench and Snow Lakes Trail Hike Washington - Mount Rainier National Park. This was truly an epic day hike in the heart of Mount Rainier National Park. It was an easy enough hike for the entire family to complete, even my 6 year old was able to do all of it.
There were a couple of steep areas that gave your quads a nice workout, but overall it was more than doable, especially if you are not pressed for time. Take your time, enjoy the scenery and make your way up to Bench and Snow Lakes.
The trail stays pretty even up to Bench lake, there you will get a great view of Mount Rainier, assuming it's not hiding behind a could, like it was for us. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife and the distant waterfall coming off of Mount Rainier.
You the go a little further and cross a creek. Once you cross the creek you begin the ascent to Snow Lake. Your legs will be a little tired, but it was worth the wait!
Unicorn Peak waits for you as it stands proudly over Snow Lake. The lake has that beautiful turquoise glacial lake color.
