//ABOUT ME
Hello, My name is Mert, I am a professional 3D artist with nearly 10 years experience, I have started to share all my knowledge with you, my main software is Cinema 4D and my professions are Modeling/Product Visualization/Shading/Lighting/Rendering/Compositing/Motion Graphics Based Animations.
OMG what I learn in 10 min is amazing, realy useful tutorial for Modeling ! THX you so much !
Thank you, nice to hear that!
Very useful tutorial - ALL videos. Thank you!
thank you for all these excellent tutorial
wow, fast and easy. plus, some nice tricks. thank you very much!!
Its nice to see CAD like workflow for C4D hope for more like this many thanks.
Awesome
Its nice to see CADILLAC workflow 😀
Как я рад что нашёл Вас ! Спасибо , классные уроки 👍
Thank you very much. 🙏🏻
really good workflow! after having to endure loads of Blender users making cool stuff non-destructively using booleans and bevelling them it's great to see similar with Cinema. Thanks man 🙏🏻
Thank you, Cinema 4D had really good workflow for booleans for along time but with the new bevel deformer, it got a lot better.
@@polygonpen one thing I have to ask - is there a general rule for fixing the issues with surfaces deforming? i check phong edge break so my flat surfaces become one, but i have issues with corners. Is there a hard and fast rule or is it simply a question of making cuts and seeing which ones fix the issue?
If you select the non destructive way, you will eventually get these kind of problems, but if you go with the traditional way like booleing and making only one object and beveling ( not deformer), you can fix the issue with inner extrude, inner extrude every polygon island or polygon island divided by phong angle, also it is good to have those polygon islands are melted ( no edges, like n-gon), this will solve most of the problems but in the end you may end up making cuts, it is never guaranteed. It is a litlle hard to explain like that but in the next videos, I willl try to model just like that.
thank for your completed tutorial
Great. This method could be useful at the trendy low-poly rooms. :) thanks
thnx for lesson. very understable !
Very Good!!!
Thank you very much!
Thank You!!!
very nice!
Kindly add more CAD tutorials
excellent
Your amazing
i wonder who you are inspired by
your techniques show a lot in as few steps as possible
thats quite brilliant actually
Thanks, there is not a specific person I inspired
Hey man, nice tutorial! : )
Short question here! I just wonder if it's possible to export such a "NURBS" object the way, so it could be CNC milled by a CNC machine as a aluminum product for example? What do you think 🤔
Thanks but for this kind of models, I would recommend CAD modeling softwares.
PRO!
Thank you very much. I have an issue. When I add a group at 7:20 instead of a normal bevel I get a open edges. In other words I can see only the sides and there are no bevel at all, I can see the inner part of the object.
It is probably because of N Gons, check your mesh, look for empty points, and don't forget to optimize, select all points, right click and select optimize, this is gonna merge duplicate points.
@@polygonpen Thank you very much. The problem is that I have done it.Topology is perfect, no surplus point, no overlapped points. That's fine, I will follow you, no one is better at topology as you :)
@@CsokaErno :) start from very beginning.
@@polygonpen I have tried. Same result. But I have realised what happened. I have to subtract cylinders one by one. Perhaps it is a bug. Thank you, anyway :)
@@CsokaErno Interesting, no problem :)
If I don't use bevel object but use bevel M~S, how can I get Phong Break Rounding ? Please answer me. Thank
Same process, select edges, and break phong shading.
@@polygonpen my thank bro
Hello, I want to ask What If I select the points and chose bevel in editable options will that give me same results ?
Hello, beveling points will not give any results in that case, it is used for something else.
@@polygonpen In some new video cab you use that too ?
Which one, sometimes I forget, soorry :/
@@polygonpen editing points with bevel in editable options
Hey mabn what do you mean with non destrucitve?
Non destructive roughly means that the objectis are still primative/non editable.
Check out a plug-in called Recall by RocketLasso, it can save states of your model using tags.
I know that Plug in but never used.
Can you tell when you added new cuts what did that do exactly ?
What?When?Where?
@@polygonpen 4:440 new cuts
Also Friend You are amazing I have been following your tutotrials and I have learned so much in Modeling. Can you just guide me where I can find a tutorial or information on each modifier or deformer in C4D I am new ! thanks cheers
Press K K or right click and select line cut.
Thanks, I don't think there are any tutorial about every deformer but I will make a series abıt every deformer soon.
When I went to 'create a single object' it created a null?
Try to select every object.
@@polygonpen thank you
@@polygonpen it didn’t work, could this be an issue with R25?
@@robsamartino71 Yeah, maybe, can't tell what it is without seeing the scene.
I did it wrong somewhere. It was not complete for him. I'll try again later. This is the result :)

It seems like you didn`t add last bevel deformer.
@@polygonpen 🙏😇
@@polygonpen I fixed it. Conclusion :)

Looks good.
