Glad to see Chris back on site. It will definitely help with you chore when you REALLY clean up the bottom of the pool….have him drop that bucket down there to more easily get everything back topside.

I'm sure that you already realize this but just a reminder from someone who has had a home in the country with a pool; never stick your hand into those skimmers to clean them out without first checking to see what's in them. You could get an unwelcome surprise. Loving the video series. Thanks.

just have a question for you about the pool, a real nerdy one at that. : if/when you have to drain the pool some day, where are you planning to siphon of the pool water? full of clorine and stuff isn't it? if you pump it into the lake all the wildlife in there will die?
Great question! We are doing an ozone system. The chlorine level will be low, like drinking water.

So I watched a video where a guy used a pvc pipe and a test plug in a drill to mix spray paint. The thing works I use it all the time. I'm betting that the same technique you could use with your pvc hole saw there and you could whip those holes out in seconds, Although it probably didn't take you long as is. Just an Idea for the future if your really going to get into doing a lot of that type of thing.

Could you do a video on pros and cons of ICF? Seems like it has been a total pain.
I'll do one at some point. The house stuff is pretty easy, especially since out of 1 - 10 I picked difficulty level 9, lol. The pool stuff is not easy but a lot of that has to do with the difficulty level as well.
Difficulty Level 9. Sounds like an Olympic scoring calculation 😂 Going for the Gold or bust. 🏆 (and bust is not an option)

You have nice radius internal corners. What about the external corner which is the one you’re more likely to swim into

If it was me, I probably would've put atleast one return at the beginning of the stairs so you dont end up with a dead zone and then I would've only used 4 lights, I think 8 is overkill for that small area but that's just my opinion.
There are two returns in the stairs.

Doing a lot of it myself. Filming and editing everything for RUclips. Weather. Waiting on others schedule. Etc Etc
I not buying that this is a cheaper pool alternative. It will be a cool pool design but I’ve seen gunfire pools done and it just seems so much easier with a ton less labor.
And the price to buy these wooden forms must be huge. How many times do you expect to reuse them ? Seems low on re use and high on cost.
I'll have less than 1/3 of what a gunite pool would have cost me. I have had those built before.

Don’t forget to hit ur neck,ears,hands and face. Melanoma starts where it wants and shows up in simple places most commonly like your abdominal
If you don’t catch it it can and will kill.

You've obviously never built a concrete pool. Especially not one with any complexity.
Mr. BG you sure are handing out a lot of blame on this video! Are you feeling a little guilty? Looks like you irritated your neighbor enough that he is building a fence to keep you and your cohorts out! We saw the no trespassing on his side of the property last video. It wasn't like it was on the street but was right there for YOU to read! Well maybe it was for that BG pond monster to read...who really knows? Maybe the ducks?
