    I had the same idea to plant the aerial roots into a smaller pot before making a propagation and had to search around to see if someone had actually done it. Great to see it works and your monstera looks fantastic!

      Yeah it works! I would suggest to pot everything in a bigger pot, as it is easier to move the plant and it looks cleaner :)

    I have a giant Tai also and I’ve just been pruning leaves to keep it a 3-4 giant leaves. I’ve also been cutting the arial roots as they grow to keep the plant tight and clean looking. I’ll let new arial roots grow and try this. I’d like to propagate it at some point.

    you should be proud of how well youhave cared for this plant,to get it to this size looks very lovely and healthy ,no sham in managing it by prooning ,good luck im sure it will thrive under your care again

      Got him in 2019, so 4 years. However, the lowest leaf is the top cutting from the original motherplant, which I do not have anymore.

      Just basic Pokon soil, I do not use mixed soil.

    She is big and beautiful. I love the tai constellation’s leaves 🍃. I just bought 2 of them in a 4” pot with 6 leaves I hope they will get as big as your’s.
