I was born 3 months premature back in the 80s. I’m glad we have better medical and technical support for moms and premature babies these days.
I just came across your vid since I'm looking for vids about pregnancy discharge since I've got soo much discharge since last week at first it's milky white, turned to clear and now it's pail yellow discharge, Im 22weeks pregnant right now and I've been hospitalized last week for 5 days I just got out last monday.i was hospitalized due to premature labor I was leaking and bleeding alot at the same time and I've been through all the labor pain and was told that Im already 8cm dilated and doctors already told me the worst case scenario and told me directly that there's really very little chance to none that they can save my baby,but still they gave me meds to drink to try save the baby and Im in IV inject different meds and I'm in oxygen since my baby and my heartbeat are both unstable I had my pelvic ultrasound and the baby's head is already along my cervix but amniotic fluid is still ok and intactat that time all I did was cry since we've been waiting to have another child for more than 12years. When I was discharged with my baby still in me alive all the doctors nurses and midwives that took care of me for those days told me that my baby really is a miracle baby and a survivor they told me they're never encountered patient like my condition whose baby did survive it's really the first time they've encountered a patient having very earlylabor with 8cm and did survive the experience. Now I was advised to be in full bedrest throughout my whole pregnancy with no bathroom privileges and I can only go out of the bed when going for a checkup. Right now I'm still in bed rest but still being paranoid thinking about my heavy and frequent discharges it doesn't have a scent though color is pale yellow to dark yellow maybe the color is because of all the meds that I'm taking but I'm really expecting for my discharge to be back to white milk color idk right now I'm just thanking each day as a blessing since I can still feel my baby very active inside me though felt really uncomfortable sometimes since I need to lie in bed with my lower part being elevated for the baby to positioned a little further from my cervix for whole remaining 5months but still very thankful
I would hope that if they told you everything was normal, it is, but if you are ever worried you can always go to the labor and delivery floor of your hospital and get checked out until you feel satisfied! Also check out the app Count the Kicks to count baby's kicks and make sure they are safe, as changes in movement are often the first sign of distress. Don't hesitate to advocate for yourself and your baby! Sending you love
