- In this video, I'm jamming with my FREE Grime Pocket Operator PO-33 kit and sample pack! If you're as addicted to Grime as I am, this PO-33 sound pack is for you. It's inspired by the iconic sounds of two of my fav Grime tracks ever - Dizzee Rascal's "I Luv U" and Novelist's AMAZING "1 sec"!
The first time I heard Dizzee's “I Luv U”, I was totally blown away! It was incredibly raw and so distinct from typical hip-hop and rap. It felt genuinely authentic to me, blending homegrown European genres like garage and jungle with elements of electro and rap…such an awesome mix! Since then, I've been hooked on all things grime…artists like Skepta, JME, Wiley, Ghetts, P Money, and also "newer" talents like Ocean Wisdom, Slowthai and others. Seriously, if you're unfamiliar with any of these artists, you should definitely check them out! I’ve made a little grime playlist and you can give it a listen right here!

So head over to my Gumroad page and download this FREE PO-33 kit and sample pack (any small tip would be highly appreciated, though😉). Here's the link:

If you're wondering how to transfer data to your @teenageengineering PO-33 or PO-133, don't worry - it's super simple. Just download the backup file, connect your device with a 3.5mm stereo cable (use the “in” jack on the left-hand side of the PO-33 / PO-133). On your PO-33 / PO-133, press WRITE + SOUND + RECORD at the same time (“rcu” should pop up on your screen) hit play on the transferring device. Wait, grab a coffee and let the PO-33 / PO-133 do its thing (it’ll tell you when it’s done).

I do have pocket operator but lately I've been experimenting just adding samples to any of my sampeling capable equipment by plugging phone somewhere in the chain and recording directly. So what I'm saying is you could prob use it with whatever sampler if you don't mind working with it some. Or I bet you could get koala sampler, get something like seal that can download videos and download whatever then use something like audiolab to separate audio and load into koala sampler which is a cheap sampler to have things like timestretching but that is convulated way of doing it. Sure there easier ways ha
