I visited this residence on 2 Sep 1945 and 3 Sep 1945...I went there as a member of a team of Signal Corps soldiers who installed and operated the teletype and radio communications for the surrender of General Yamashita and Admiral Ocochi..I treasure a card certifying my presence at the ceremony..It is signed by General Leavy one of the signees of the surrender documents..

very well done. as a kid i used to go there all the time when i was in baguio, there is great hiking and "pine cone picking" (and sometimes throwing) in back of the residence. this piece was well done and worthwhile. brought back a lot of memories.

Wow, what an awesome tour is that! I'm from baguio but i only look at the outside of the mansion as your're not allowed to go in. Now i have a great view that's really wonderful and amazing. i've met the ambassador once in 2011 and that's great as well.

Nice job, Carlos!! Very good. My only comment is that the underscoring is a little loud and intrusive in some parts. How can I sleep there in my next visit to the RP?? I mean I have a US passport!?!?!

It's not a hotel that is open to everybody. Just so happen that Carlos is a special person.

Hello, I am an American citizen and will be visiting the Philippines in March and June of 2019. May I have the pleasure of being invited to the US Embassy? It would be an honor and a privilege! Thank you!

I'm sure the American Embassy can accommodate you, i.e., as long as you bring along your tasteful coffee.

John Douglas. So cool of you to leave a comment. You'll be glad to know it's now registered and will be restored and fixed up soon. Needless to say, it's been kept in mint condition.

We affirm the depth of the partnership of the people of the Philippines, the government, the United States of America, the European Union and the Vatican. We affirm the support of the United States of America, the European Union and the Vatican to the Philippines in economic and political terms, and we affirm the support in terms of food as well.
