I'm giggling at all the silly things in the background. There's a box in the warehouse that says "blarg" as the brand and then in tiny letters it says "butts". The little yellow sticky notes let you know that there's a puzzle that you're working on as well as gives you hints on what to do. Same with the TVs at the beginning. I haven't finished watching yet. This game is full of so many little things and you can tell that the game creators were just having a laugh the whole time! This is my kind of cheeky humor
The fact that Outer Wilds IS on the chaos wheel makes me so happy. There's hope that one day you'll play the most incredible game I've ever played that continues to live in my head rent free.❤

I have to say my appreciation to years of watching Gab part of why she's so cozy to watch is how well she explains her problem solving with full patience and calmness.(even when games are supposed to be spooky and intentionally stress inducing lol). This game especially seemed complicated but not overwhelming bc Gab is amazing in that way walking us through it with her. She makes all her content adorable, mood uplifting and pleasant to watch as a perfect comfort content creator. I love her to say the least lol💜
Chaos wheel is its own character at this point. I'm ok with whatever you play as long as it's something you wanted to play initially because there's something so delightful in seeing you have fun. Played this to completion a few weeks ago. Liked it a lot. Not only are the puzzles clever, the way all the signs are placed in their environment is well done giving you a real sense of travelling.

I played this game a year or so ago. That moment when the hand appears and a bit later on the rooftops when you realize the true nature of the puzzle is absolutely mind-blowing. I loved seeing it again through someone else's eyes playing it for the first time.
The sounds and music are wonderful in this game. And all of their mechanic developments are so cool. Must've taken ages to do this all. The buildings and settings are also so well designed for being all in the background. So fun.
I played this game in 2022. Trough Xbox Game Pass on Windows. And back then I got stuck quite at the beginning. It's good to see that I'm not the only one stuck at games like this (without help). I don't want to look up guides for every game just to finish it. So this is a good alternative, watching someone else complete the game - with help every now and then.
Iirc she’s also mentioned that she’s studied some Korean, Mandarin and French in the past, and with being Dutch also understands some German. Knowing both Dutch and English I think she’d be pretty good at picking up some Swedish as well, there’s been several times when I’ve realised a lot of words are very similar. (And even if åäö isn’t in the Dutch language from what I remember, she’s the only non-Swedish speaker (outside of Scandinavia) I’ve heard pronouncing words with the same sound almost perfectly.)

I just remembered this is actually getting 'high' on puzzling, used to happen to me doing math, hours and hours of it :) Also this, we shouldnt skip, watching ourselves in the mirror, nude, our bodies need attention too, just dont over do it or youll become Narcissus 😆

glad I waited for my own playrthrough. It was my second runthrough and I had forgotten everything. It was like my first time. Your sci fi take on the ending of this open ended game had me giggling. As for me I was just wondering: where they going? heaven? hell? An endless billboarded freeway heaven? Who knows?
about that US based book club; usually when buying in the US they do not even include the sales tax or the import sales tax for selling to UK or EU countries... so when I order something and the shipping cost ist like doubling the costs you often need to add taxes on top of that... at least in the EU we only pay the difference of the sales tax the seller already added in the US and the import tax which means 19% in total taxes on these sales; so for a while in the mid 2010 years you could simply add 100% on the cart value as the shipping cost were usually around 80% of the value for some reason; but the shipping costs have gone up ever since (and a huge factor in that is the US protectionism; since they import less goods, the export has become more expensive)

Not only is the game fun to watch, a lot of the music (created by Logan Hayes) sounds very similar to Danny Elfman’s and like something straight out of a Tim Burton movie in all the best ways.
