I like this video. I made all these mods as soon as I got my Ninja. You have to, stock crap is lame. The very first mod made to any crotch rocket should always be sliders. Take care of your baby in case of a drop.
You don't get an exhaust without changing your air filter and re jetting carbs (unless your bike is fuel injected) unless you want your bike running like shit.
+Yes Man I was listening he said exhaust separate then said air filter re jet should be done as well/done at the same time. I said you don't get exhaust without air filter and rejet. meaning what shop puts an exhaust on without re jet and air filter. idk what shops you go to.. maybe a retarded shop but it goes with out saying a mechanic isn't going to just put an exhaust on without re jet and air filter.
Stevie Magana absolutely no jetting is required. at the very least you can drop a 1-3mm washer under your main needle and retune your idle jets and you'll be fine. mine runs excellent other than when it's below 50°f which is rare in fl. it's tunes around 85°f.
I just installed 118 Jets in my carburetor on my Kawasaki Ninja 250 and added 30 horsepower and a carburetor pod filter and a crankcase pod filter and carbon fiber exhaust
Ive been riding since 1984...was a 2 time series CMC motoX champ etc etc..my point is that Im FAR from being a beginner and so I dont say this cuz I feel this comment is directed at me,but rather just cuz I fucking hate people like you that shame new riders or ones that like the smaller bikes...does it really make you feel like a "bigger man" to put down other people cuz they like or use something you "dont approve of"??? Who the fuck are you anyways??? So god damn sick of you shit wanna be riders that take out your insecurities caused by knowing you cant ride for shit ,and taking it out on others..putting em down to give the allusion youre a bad ass rider, when in fact you know you prob suck ass and need to put others down to make yourself feel worthy of even getting on your segway with your griptape mod and spinning segway rims you got off Wish..we dont fucking toxic ass riders in bike riding man, go take youre bullying ass and big mouth over to epic rap battles and spout off where its welcome..your kind aint wanted here, fucking douchebag...
what sucks is you must be a Machine Head fan too....which Im a huge fan of em,so *Im fucking ashamed youre one too...unreal man..figures the one M f'n H fan heres the biggest douchecannon of the lot
Or maybe ppl wanna get comfortable riding or even learning to wheelie. No reason to shame someone on engine size. I've ridden everything from a 50cc to a 1700 cruiser and I'll tell ya I have way more fun on lightweight lower cc bikes but couldn't bring myself to spend over $3k for a Grom so planning on buying one if these to learn how to wheelie before I go to another liter bike.
8 years late on this response, but you and everyone were a BEGINNER at one time. So unless your first bike was a busa, then it's good that a first timer starts on at least 250 as opposed to step into a 1100cc bike. Funeral costs are expensive.. even 8 years ago

@03:20 "you can install one in *hours* very easily"...I do believe that's what they call an oxymoron.

I have a 2003 250 . It looks old as hell. I want to build it up . Where can I go to find the body parts ?
There isn't any engine or transmission parts to upgrade?
I would move frame sliders to number one. Speaking from experience, it’s not IF you’ll drop your bike. It’s when.

He already said that if you listened

+Yes Man it's like saying you should get upgraded seat and also buy some foam to pack it in. no it comes with it

The best mod you can get is sell it and buy a bike that doesn't require you have a mangina!
