Likeable guy... subbed you up.. definitely be interested how you fix glass scratches... I was going to try to use windscreen resin. You know the stuff they use to fix chips in the glass
That's crazy! Sounds like I need to find a aquarium society 😂 I'm totally fine with nano tanks getting more and more popular, leaves more giant tanks for me! lol
Would you have to disassemble the whole tank to redo the silicone or can you just clean what is there and add more silicone? Like how does restoring an old aquarium work?
Depends on how bad the seams are. Rarely do you need to take the tank apart and reseal the panels together. Unless you can clearly see the corner seams forming air bubbles and and the silicone starting to get dry and brittle, there isn't a need to take the tank apart. Most of the time leaks happen from a pinhole or small section of silicone that went bad. I think sometimes its manufacturer defects that cause leaks years later with an air bubble between the panels that works its way through over many years. So basically with resealing, you would remove the silicone from the inside of the tank with a razer blade being careful to not cut between the panels of glass, and once removed, clean with mineral spirits and apply a new bead of silicone along the inside edges. That's it. If you knew the precise spot that was letting the leak through, you could potentially repair that section on its own. Just know that nothing sticks to silicone, not even new silicone very well. So applying silicone on top of existing silicone with no clean glass to adhere to is a little risky. Thanks for your question! ✌
Don’t get anything that would get too big to be happy in that space. Many bigger animals need lots of space to move around and explore. Just my $0.02. 👍
awesome score, can't wait to see how you set them up. And yes giant planted tank with tons of nano fish
What a blessing! Can't wait to see how you scape it.
Can't wait to get started on it! It's gonna be 🔥🔥🔥
What a deal, congrats!
That's the stuff that gets new subscribers...😂😅 Congrats!🎉🎉🎉🎉

I lovef this! Large tanks go for like $15 at my local aquarium society auctions. A 20 gal will sell for $50. It's nuts 🤣
Excellent score!!

Nice, super cool! Should totally get a porcupine puffer, they're so adorable :)

Awesome amazing deal!!!
Great video quality
Amazing!!
Killer deal, even if it leaks
Make each aquarium themed. Like one an Amazon river fish aquarium, one an Asian fish aquarium, and one your saltwater.
Love the idea! Biotopes are so cool

Screaming deal I thought my 65 g for free with stand was a great deal . That’s great

Of course! Nothing more sad than seeing a beautiful animal cramped in a tiny space. Thanks for the comment! ✌
Reef tank?
Got a local frag swap just one week away, so we may indeed have a reef tank on our hands soon enough! 🤞
Just bought a jewel trigon with everything and stand for 50euro. and a about 2 years ago I got 1 jewel vision 450 for free! xD needed reseal tho.. xD
Btw, don't get anything that'll outgrow that tank. xD
Epic find, love it!!
Plant3d tank please 😊
It's always the right choice ☺
I absolutely dread the wooden plank design for the stands. Looks like something out of Twin Peaks, ewww :(
🤣 Glad we can agree. The 180 will be blacked out so fast I can assure you 🖤🤌
Facebook was your first choice. Bad judgment.
