Dream It, Be It - 2024

Soroptimist International of Clovis held their 2024 Dream It, Be It Conference on the Clovis Community College Campus. Fifty girls from six Clovis Unified High Schools listened to inspirational speakers, made Dream boards, set goals, and learned about a variety of career options. Our partnership with Clovis Community College allowed the girls to be on a college campus and talk to staff about financial and guidance opportunities that will be available to them. For the second year in a row, the Fresno Assistance League provided four grand prize shopping sprees to girls who attended. Seniors who attended were encouraged to apply for an educational grant if they would be continuing their education in the fall. Three girls were awarded $500 grants.
