That outside car cam is so great compared to all the other POV reviews.
IMO that's one of the best looking stock bikes out there.
I agree and absolutely love the looks. But that thing is powered by squirrels running on rubber bands inside the motor. My 234 pound 450cc dirt bike makes only 9 less hp than that scrambler. Its way overpriced for what you get imho.

@@matviyk3066 My dirtbike has a much higher power to weight ratio so I would prefer the Streetfighter. I love the look of this scrambler but it's a freakin dog.
@@peaceprayer595 Makes 75 HP and is light, it's supposed to be just a fun bike not a SuperSport lol plus people who whine something doesn't have power typically can't ride anything but a straight line. Scrambler will tear up some corners.
That high five into handhold was just beautiful! I could genuinely see myself on that bike, it's gorgeous!! I will never get sick of those rolling shots they are bloody amazing!!

What a beauty! Love those colors, the blue saddle, that sound, that electric blue frame. I guess I'd personally like the clocks to be analogue on such a bike, but other than that, the whole package is beautiful.
Also, this is the best review yet of the Scrambler Cafe Racer (post-2019 refresh). Lots of third-person perspective b-roll of him riding. Really nice.

I think it’s a great bike - I bought the icon and am using accessories to take it in the cafe direction as I will add Carbon, shock, fork kit, wheels etc. buying a low mile second hand bike gives you a budget to start with, and because I will upgrade so much, I don’t need to start with the expensive model.

Dayummmm. I'm also not personally a fan of blue on bikes but I would still rock that bike. You're absolutely right, this is one of those bikes that you really wouldn't have to do anything to it. It's pretty much perfect from the factory in terms of looks. It's like the XSR700 from Yamaha with all the aftermarket stuff that you wanna do it, but Ducati does it for you and charges you a bit more for it. And you lose a tad bit of reliability for the aircooled Ducati goodness. It's a tough choice between the two

Even though im not into the scrambler model, the blue color scheme is awesome, would love it if ducati put this scheme on other models like the monster or panigale.

Got mine last year and it is my “only bike” :) I just changed the blue sattle into a black one with blue stitches. Ducati Spacers fixes the mechanical throttle slop in the electric throttle tubes Ducati uses that Chase experienced around @7:29. They have to manufacture it in there, and it’s horrible feeling on some of their bikes. Easy mod, easy install, huge improvement.

I love my Scrambler Icon to bits! 800cc is the goldilocks bike for these Scramblers. A true candidate for "if you're only gonna have one bike".
Hey bro i got one too. What type of fuel do use for it. Im very conflicted with the user manual and what the dealership said
@@shutatataa I use fuel with 95 RON/octane or higher only. Anything lower and it may cause engine lag or knocking in the worse case.
is the seat of this cafe racer slimmer compared to the other scrambler in terms of width ?

You trying to buy or just ride? They may not take you seriously. If they see a sell, they’ll usually let you ride.

everything but shocks man! its a shame ducati did not put adjustable shocks, you can upgrade though with Öhlins at your own expense 🤪
Looks like a good competitor for the SV650X
Couple of things. First, it's not a bike for tootling along traffic heavy straight, town roads or highways. It's for twisty, country B roads, and secondly I can assure you that when you ride it properly, there is very good and very useful engine braking in virtually *every* gear, so much so that I find my country road trips roughly 50 - 50 engine braking/brakes for corners.

Try the nightshift next man it has straight low lean forward handlebars not raised like the icon, nor clipons like this one. The Nightshift will blow you away man! I HATE the clipons on my cafe racer they reduce turning angle and cause tank slappers. Prefer nightshift or icon style handlebars. Much more control on the windy turns, and less danger of the death wobble (Ducati scramblers do that if you hit the throttle too fast). I own one of each so i have experience to opinionate a bit

Now you need to find the night shift version and give it a go!
I guess this version is the one that feels closest to the original 750SS this bike is based on.
Prefer clip ons looks wise, but handlebars are more comfy!
Think that throttle slack is built in to stop newer riders accidentally popping 1st gear wheelies, I think a spacer kit is available for the throttle to tighten up initial response
AW HELL NAH..throttle slack is dangerous AF, you go to twist it and instead of a smooth and predictable power delivery you get a twitchy response, also you can never take off your hand from the handlebar because you'll need to find the point where the gas opens every time you do that.
The only slack you need is to prevent the bike to accelerate in a full steer lock, you just need a couple of millimeters of play (and this also applies to the clutch cable).

Think I’m going for the cafe as a second Bike (well second to the Grom).
I currently own a Grom but just purchased Cafe Racer and shipping it here. I love the way it look but not a fan of blue color and it’s the only reason I holding back till now. I prefer red/black combo like my cars and Grom

How does this compare to the monster 797?
Different position, the Monster is more upright. Spoked wheels instead of cast aluminum on the 797. Monster is a bit lighter. Honestly if you're looking for a cafe racer, buy the Scrambler Cafe. But if you're looking for an air cooled Monster... don't buy the 797. It's a parts bin bike. Buy the Monster 796 from a few years ago. More horsepower, lighter, better brakes, single sided swingarm, under-seat exhaust, etc.
@@CBRboy1717 I'm not too worried on the parts bin thing since monsters were always like that and the lower power and longer desmo intervals make it more enticing for a beginner

The way Ducati appears to be going with the 2021 Monster (no more trellis frame) this Scrambler Cafe Racer is more Monster than the Monster.
