It would be a bit heavier but also offer a bit more protection than a MTB helmet. We've seen it used by both MX and MTB riders & would work perfect for both.
Hey, I'm torn between the 2017 2 Series and the 2016 3 Series. The 3 Series is on discount at a store here so it's the same price as the 2 series but they don't have the color I want for the 3 series. From what i can see the 2 series actually has better ventilation and the weight difference is tiny, so which one would you chose?
Have you happened to weigh this helmet? Currently have a Kali carbon fiber helmet that's very light. Looking for a newer backup helmet but don't want it to be crazy heavy by comparison. Can get these in matte black currently for $59

I think that using it for mtb will be kind of heavy for the neck, right ?
