It’s not like how there is Memphis Jooking. Where it’s specific to Tennessee. However, Jersey Club is specific to New Jersey and has been for years. So Chicago may have footwork, but I promise you it isn’t a Chicago specific thing. Also Jersey Club originated from house music hence the dance steps and specific rhythm. Either case, I enjoy Chicago and it’s dancing😊.

If, you know anything about underground music at the time they wanted to label it DISCO.. The club scene was made up with all types of beautiful people. We didnt care about who you are or how much money you make. We are here to DANCE and listen to some damn CLUB MUSIC. The NORTH JERSEY BOYS were the CLUB HEADS at the time. The five borough boys felt at the time were not really feeling the club scene too much. Beside, they had their own thing the birth of RAP MUSIC!!! JERSEY BOYS WERE ALWAYS KILLING IT and everybody else followed. The PHILLY boys and BALTIMORE boys would come to NYC and JERSEY clubs and take our style and create their own mainly the DJs. NOW, lets not forget about Chicago they came real late in the game of CLUB MUSIC. They call their version HOUSE MUSIC... THANKS, to their main man DJ Frankie Knuckles that lived in the NYC CLUB scene and brought back some of that knowledge and created House Music in the late 80s. Therefore, the dances we are seeing today was done way back in NYC CLUB scene. Because, i was there... CLUB HEAD FOR LIFE!!! A NORTH JERSEY BOY!!! E.O. ps CLUB ZANZABAR AND THE GARAGE!!!!!
