Thanks so much for this tutorial! Been struggling with colour changing for a while! Looks so much neater now!
Thank you! All other color change techniques didn't work with my amigurumi project, but this one was exactly what i was looking for!
This was so helpful. I've been learning how to make my own patterns recently, but I never knew how to change colors seamlessly. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!! This is just a perfect tutorial for color changing. Can't say thanks enough
You're the best! Also super adorable the way you say round!
Thank you so much !!
The way i have been colour changing looked so bad 😆
And you showed me how to make it look amazing 😁
THANK YOOOOOOU 😃
My friend from work has been teaching me to crochet, but sometimes I want learn to do something to surprise her and this has helped me so much. Thank you! On another note, which yarn do you use? It looks so clean.
Very helpful!
thank you!!
Hello, question from a newbie please. Are you turning your work inside out so that the yarn ends do not show?
TheFarrg I’m not sure what your question is, did you watch the video? If you did, you can see I never turn it inside out.
@@DIYFluffies Yes I watched the video and I came to the realisation that Iup until now, I was working inside out! and that's why I never was getting the colour change correct! thanks for your video!! :)
Finally after watched so many videos, this is the best explaination and the method is easy to follow for beginner. Thank you so much for sharing! :)
Absolutely amazing! This is exactly what I needed to move forward on my amigurumi project. Thank you!!!
I bought a pattern on Etsy not realizing it required color changing like this and I haven’t done it seamlessly yet. You give me confidence that I can do it!!
Thank you! This is how I make color changes EXCEPT I didn’t start the new color early, like you show. What a great tip!
Omgosh, best video ever on color changing. Been crocheting for decades....Thank you!
Thank you!
I know this is an old video, but I just learned how to crochet and this is the best explanation on how to do this that I've found! You are a really great teacher! I suscribed as I also love your amigurumi tutorials ❤
Thank you!
Very clear and very helpful. We add small patches of the new yarn never cutting the main color, that is genius. Thank you!!
Very helpful,thanks a lot ❤
THANK YOU!! I’ve been looking forever for a video that shows a color change and lets me understand how to do it consistently and all this time i only had to hide the second yarn behind the stitches so i dont have to constantly cut it!
This is exactly what I needed! I’ve been crocheting since the beginning of 2021 and and I could never figure out how to do this. Thank you!
Thanks so much! This is the best way I saw. Suscribed
You are welcome!
I am trying to make my first amigurumi with color change and your video was so helpful! So happy I've found it. Thank you!
this helps a lot for a beginner like me.thank u so much!!
Thanks a lot
Thank you
Thanks for this one issue I found when doing only a few st in a round in a long ear on a rabbit was the colour was always shiffting in the direction I was working no idea why, but I see you cut the yarn each row where as I tried looping it back inside
Apparently the yarn slants in the direction of your dominant hand. I also have this problem.
This was very helpful! So many patterns just say to drop the yarn and then pull it across the back of your work, but I don’t like the way that looks at all. I love this so much more. Thank you very much.
You’re welcome
Thankyou for sharing. Just what i was looking for! My amigurumi project was looking like a spaguetti dish!!
Oh my gosh hiding the the yarn like that is so genius, you can switch back to brown so easily
Thankyou for this.. hands down the best explanation of joining colours I’ve found.. priceless for this newbie

Hi...do you know why color change areas look tilted to one side? Like the white part on the monkey is very straight on the left and right side. But for me in similar projects the right side is even and the left side looks different. Thank you.
Are you left handed?
@@DIYFluffies I am right handed
@@CreativeExpress87 Dunno if you're gonna see this but mine is also tilted to one side.. looks so bad and makes me frustrated 😭
@@SuromitaMondal Hi! There are a few ways to improve this. Only some people with magic tension can have colour changes in the round without tilting with normal stitches.
1) Front loop only. Do all stitches in FLO. Best method in my experience.
2) Yarn under instead of yarn over.
Also instead of going in spirals try to have a joining stitch. I dislike the slip stitch and chain 1, but invisible slip stitch join is a little better. There're also more methods for a join that doesn't show up.
I don’t recommend FLO, it will change the shape of the pattern. Only use a join stitch when the pattern tells you to. It will change the shape of the pattern. I recommend practicing the color change.
