Good luck. Truly I do wish you luck on this subject, it's one that has been a long time in coming.....like about 8,000 years worth.
@@generalfreezer681 Well that was the idea but if your auto translate isn't up to the task...I am not really sure what to tell you. So which parts you having problems with? The 8,000 years part (in the SW universe, 5k of which has actually Sort Of been documented) or the under 300 Active current Clans with a couple thousand other historical ones from the past part?
@@generalfreezer681 Mando's do not equal simple, which explains why they are so hard to interview, after all how do historians ask questions of the "heavily armed crowd" without getting shot for "being annoying"? 1st problem: Mando's like their secrecy and tricks plus learn them from a young age from their Buir (father, whoever that may be) which is Mando family tradition. Hence different clans, have different strategies and almost none of them use the same tactics which makes them a wide ranging group tactically speaking. 2nd Problem: You must find them first because they are currently spread across half a galaxy (canonically speaking). 3rd Problem: Most Mando families have as much Myth as Fact (intentionally mixed in) in their stories and legends about their people so the historian attempting to document them might want to Not take No for an answer since us Mando's like it when someone is persistent (but not annoying). They will also need to keep in mind the events they might be trying to track down might have depopulated a sector of the galaxy in general, so be careful what you wish for. 4th Problem: What you learn may actually kill you and any living Mando may not be the one that does it since in Problem number 1 I mentioned Mando's like their tricks, that also applies to traps in mausoleums or crypts as well. And even if you learn it, you may not be able to speak about it since that is completely up to the current Mandalore himself whether you do so or not, even if you survive. Problems 1 thru 4 would be why I told you "good luck" on this subject but to be completely honest it would probably be more rewarding to dig to the center of Coruscant to find the truth and probably less deadly since there will probably be less explosives involved...maybe.
So all this takes place in Star Wars Universe 1 aka legends. Disney Cannon is Star Wars Universe 2. By labeling them as separate universes you can acknowledge that both are Cannon so as to make both sides happy. Hopefully they could develop a Star Wars Multiverse with a Star Wars What If series.
I was actually surprised Clan Ordo (personal favourite Clan) was your pick. I would think Clan Vizla would get the spot for having perhaps the most known members rising to the either the title of Mand'alor, or a de-facto leader of a major alliance of mandalorians if both canon and legends were considered.
As he said, Clan Ordo was picked because they went against The Ancient Sith with balls of steel. The Mandalore is much worse, He went against an army filled with Sith across planets to the star forge alongside Revan and many others, Helped kill Darth Nihilius and his assassins alongside The Exile, Visas Marr and his fellow Mandalorian comrades, he was on that ship where he died, he fought against him.
Clan Ordo has Manda'lor the Preserver and the legacy Mandalore while Vizla only had one Mandalore, Shae. Tor and Pre never became Manda'lor and always had to rely on Jedi or other force users to win their battles.
I suggest a deep dive into the Mandelorian Civil War. With a focus on Satine, her relationship with Obi-Wan, the adventures the three of them went on and how her faction ultimately won the war.
This was really helpful because i had no idea that Clan Fett was even a thing (probably because i don't read or play legends stuff) so i thank you for that
Any thoughts to a future about Mandalore the Uniter? He's honestly a rather intriguing Mand'alor that stands out from others and my friends often compare him to being the Mandalorian version of 'Aragorn'. The song "A Hero Comes Home" fits his story.

Mandalore can be Split into three words After all: Man, da Lore! And knowing about Georges love of simple names (Naming a drug dealer Elan Sleazebag-gano, or an ice Planet Hot-h) thats gotta be were the Name stems from.

Shae Vizla or Mandalore the Avenger, was part of Clan Vizla not Vizsla like Tarre, Paz and Pre Vizsla, I understand the confusion but these are not the same clan. Maybe they'll retcon this in the near future since the names are a little to similar, lets hope!

@@generalfreezer681 Well that was the idea but if your auto translate isn't up to the task...I am not really sure what to tell you.
I was pretty sure that was In English, it certainly wasn't Mandoa, the Actual language of Mandalorians and a cornerstone of the Resol'naire (The Ten Resolutions ) which actually Makes you a Mandalorian.
So which parts you having problems with? The 8,000 years part (in the SW universe, 5k of which has actually Sort Of been documented) or the under 300 Active current Clans with a couple thousand other historical ones from the past part?
@@warsprite1888 i meant in simple terms
Woot woot! Clan Ordo and Clan Skirata will always hold a special place in my heart.
"burn down planets" is a completely insane thing to say
If you was a foundling, which Mandalorian Creed would you join? My option is The Clan of Two
Fett all the way.
You should do a video exploring the idea of what if the mandalorians won the mandalorian wars with either Revan being defeated or becoming Mandalor
that disruptor pistol looks so beautiful just as good with it destructive capability.
A show centering around mandalore's clans on the lines of game of thrones is need of the hour
I suggest a deep dive into the Mandelorian Civil War. With a focus on Satine, her relationship with Obi-Wan, the adventures the three of them went on and how her faction ultimately won the war.
I would like to see something about Satine and Obi-Wan in the Obi-wan series. Flashbacks to the civil war in live action would be epic.
This is random but your intro just gave me the biggest amount of nostalgia
Talk about all of em, man! I love the Mando content
This was really helpful because i had no idea that Clan Fett was even a thing (probably because i don't read or play legends stuff) so i thank you for that
This was an amazing upload very informative on the clans thank you for the education/ knowledge
Gotta agree. Clan Ordo is one of my favorites along with Fett and is no doubt the best
The Mandolorians are the most badass warriors in Star Wars.
Second only to perhaps to the imperial royal guard those guys are scary
I would really like to see a video on Clan Ordo or one on the different technologies/ forging of Mandalorian armours and weapons
Lovevto hear about the early days, like what were the Taung clans, etc.
I think you forgot about Clan Skirata
Jabba the Fett was pretty feared, no as much as Qui Gon Konobi was also fear on Raquel par to Han Skywalker
Alexa, play Vode An from Republic Commandos
*alexa confused because she is aruetii*
No love for Clan Lok? Mandalore the Vindicated?
Paz vizsla is also part of the vizsla clan in the mandalorian
I'm going to use this to gaslight people on discord into thinking I'm mandalorian
this will be epic
Any thoughts to a future about Mandalore the Uniter? He's honestly a rather intriguing Mand'alor that stands out from others and my friends often compare him to being the Mandalorian version of 'Aragorn'. The song "A Hero Comes Home" fits his story.
The neo crusader armor is for sure my favorite armor type
Please do a Canon version of this video as well.
Clan Fett, Skirata, Mereel.
The top 3 for me.
Literally my favorite part of Star Wars. What books and comics do you recommend on the Mandalorians?
KOTOR comics, Jango Fett: Open Seasons, Boba Fett: A Practical Man, Legacy of the Force, and Republic Commando series.
@@JediAcolyte94 thanks! I've read the Republic Commando series and that's what got me fully hooked on Mandalorians (I already loved Boba)
Playing Swtor as Mandalorian is always the way to go too
Its the only way
Yes!!! Also the Bounty Huters house wheh he joins Mandalorians is called house Lok
@@xazelnighthaunterfanboy975
(Spoilers)
yeah they also get decimated by the eternal empire too
@@justinzelepuza But they live in the Player Charcter
@@justinzelepuza hold up YOU CAN PLAY AS A MANDALORIAN ?! How
Came to comment Clan Skirata. Glad to see atleast the comments haven't forgotten them.
Clan Ordo: we don't need no Besksar or fancy lightsaber to be great.
Could you do a video about the Mandalorian clans in canon?
Beskar Balls :D I Like that
The best clan is the United clans under Mandolore. FOR MANDOLORE
FOR MANDOLORE!
FOR MANDOLORE!
Return of the Mandalorian Empire
My top three: Clan Fett, Clan Djarin, and Clan Skirata yeeee
This video answered my long time question if any group or people barring the jedi were able to face the sith.
Because sure, it's impressive that the mandalorians actually fought a war with the jedi and were often able to face them but the jedi aren't really fighters compared to the sith.
Then how did they Jedi always win against the sith!? The Jedi aren't fighters, ok
Can we also get a guide to the different houses of Mandalore
Since u showed the different helmets of the mandolirans, is it possible you will make a video on them
Generation Tech did a video on that very topic
The protector is with you
Since there is only one left 😆
"beskar balls" that's a new one. love it.
9:42-9:53 Darth Nihlus: "You *MANIACS!!!* You Blew it Up! Goddamn you... God *damn* you all to *HELL!!!* "
What about clan Mereel? Jastor Mereel he was Mandalore and trained Jango when his family was killed by the Watch
Excellent!
Long Live Bo Katan Regent of Mandalore! Long live the Countess Ursa Wren!
oh? and? nicely done and very helpful :)
I made a persona called vikar of clan Keldau. Now I find this video and keldau is an actual mandalorian clan that is awsome
As someone who knows alot about the Mandalorians, I gotta say they're easily the best group in Star Wars in terms of the lore and what not.
Mandalore can be Split into three words After all: Man, da Lore!
And knowing about Georges love of simple names (Naming a drug dealer Elan Sleazebag-gano, or an ice Planet Hot-h) thats gotta be were the Name stems from.
I'd give anything to be a Mandalorian warrior in the age of the Republic/Early Empire. Feel like it'd be fun as hell.
Clan Skirata is my favorite clan.
FOR MANDALORE!!!
Best clans imo: Mereel and fett
Best way/group imo: True mandalorians, first guided by jango’s adoptive father and later by jango fett himself
Did anyone else notice that one of the emblems in the start just looked like Emile’s mask from Halo Reach?
im not going to lie i was actually worried at first this was going to be canon..but no..we got the chad legends!
Canderous Ordo had one of the best hallway scenes in Star Wars.
Beviin Clan: we're just here having a lovely time!
I really hope that the season 3 of the Mandalorian will led to Mandalore being reunited again with either Boba (unlikely since he took control of Tatooine) or Din leading it , I would also love to see the same throne room in live action as the one from Clone Wars but since Mandalore was nuked that is also unlikely
I can see myself being a member of clan Ordo clan Bravo sounds cool as well.
other mandolorian clan: normal
clam maul: im gonna do whats called a pro gamer move *ends its reign in just a few days*
Aaaah, the Polynesian spa.
I was sweating until Clan Ordo was mentioned.
