Nice! Your last one inspired me to knock the dust off my emu gear. Last week I ordered a new 19" rack and I installed one of those sd card / usb drives in the e64. Gonna redo my studio. Big up!
Man I love seeing people getting leveled up on these old setups, keeping it alive. Be sure to throw up some videos once you get the rack situated and everything chugging along, would love to check it out
Excellent! Wouldn’t it be cool to have some tutorials about that amazing moment in the '90s-the golden age of chillout, downtempo, trip-hop and dnb? Back then, Northern European acts like Kruder & Dorfmeister, Peace Orchestra, Tosca, A Forest Mighty Black, Audio Lotion, Boozoo Bajou, and Walkner Moestl were absolutely killing it. The whole scene revolved around iconic labels like G-Stoned Records, Compost, Studio !K7, and Stereo Deluxe-it was such a vibe!
Just what I needed this evening. Your work is always an inspiration to me. Both for making music but in general the vibe always gets me into a positive mood. Thanks bro. And my best wishes for this new year. I feel it's going to be a challenging year, so let's keep going with those good vibes and we'll get through it stronger than ever. Cheers.
Thanks mate! the RSP-550 is such a killer FX unit, quadraverb is nice too. the ultrafex really emphasizes the sound of those units in the mix, its nuts
@@Thought-FormsI havent seen really or heard about that roland unit? Is it a reverb/delay? I got myself a sde330 and would like the quadraverb 1 as well😊
cheers mate, thank you! totally. always a challenge , struggled with it a lot when I was doing 100% itb. only having 12 channels on the mixer definitely helps aide in keeping arrangements more sparse
@ That’s a good limitation. Slightly jealous of the gear, I am still 100% in tha box (though I have a Digitakt which I should really fire up again after having learned the software fairly well now - I don’t even own an audio interface though, lol).
thanks mate! the biggest thing that helps me is just stopping and going to do something else, then coming back. ill go listen to a bunch of music in different genres and take notes, then come back. honestly g a ton of trial and error, messing about with stuff - twisting knobs, playing sounds, etc...eventually something will come out
горох об стену It sounds like peas hitting a wall! The art is to understand which samples sound together as a whole, and which ones sound like peas against a wall. You don't have that skill. Even on the E-MU 4

Nice one, success @ keeping it minimal enough, I find that’s sometimes the biggest challenge.

Awesome tune. What do you do when you get idea block? Just curious because it seems like you’re always pumping out quality stuff.

Still trying to find a floppy that works on my ESI 4000 idk how to use it still lol
lfg. what are you trying to do on the ESI, save? highly recommend putting a SCSI2SD/ZuluSCSI emulator in there, will make your life 100 times easier
@
Have it play back ANY sound so I know it’s not broken lol I will look into that! Thank you for mentioning it!!
@@burnastein5430 LOL nice, fingers crossed all is good with the unit. the esi is a little rocket
@ and major thanks for keeping us inspired and frankly at least a little bit mind blown every time too!
