The game should have been called "Send Deck Pics"
Have you guys thought about using this as a setup for a livestream? Like on an episode of North 100 (before one of the paper magic streams), you give the limitation to eachother of "You have to play these X cards I picked for you in a deck" and then do a highlander tournament with the decks you make from that. I really like these "gameshow" episodes and this show in general. Keep up the good work!

Your job is to generate value using things like gitrog monster and discard outlets to draw cards or to get more lands in your grave to get them back with splendid reclamation . To kill someone with landfall ob nixilis to drain them to death. You get to play fast bond and squandered resources

Really fascinating and enjoyable episode. I really liked seeing the discovery of hte Wish/Grapple art connection.

I built a boros token deck when i was first getting into magic, it was rather similar to the suggested naya build.

I had to stop and look up more two-card art stories because of Make a Wish/Grapple with the Past. See also: Endless Ranks of the Dead / Relentless Dead, Summit Prowler / Summit Prowler, Wizard's Lightning / Wizard's Retort, and the Defeat cycle from Hour of Devastation (requires knowledge of the actual story).
Time Spiral is full of them.
The Defeat cycle would be a 5 - card story though, right? Or each one individually paired with (the card named) Hour of Devastation would work.
Speaking of Amonkhet, all the Aftermath cards are basically self-contained two-card stories.
Yep. Aftermath cards are like double-faced cards for storytelling, though I think the Innistrad DFCs do a better job. Maybe it's the bigger art and addition of flavor text.

Final deck suggestion: one land spy except there is three lands (one for each colour of the deck) and you hermit druid to mill your deck, flashback haunting misery if it isn't in your hand and win the game. Everything that isn't a creature in the deck is either haunting misery or tutors to find haunting misery

Greatest play I've ever made with Selfless Squire was flashing it in against a 7/7 Savageborn Hydra, and on the following turn cast Temporal Isolation on the hydra to swing in for the win with a 29/29 duder
5 mana 3/3 is bad sure but the upside is that if you have fastbond and a bounce-land you win: tatyova

round 7 had me do some thinking myself. and Alex's Siege story made me think of some weird (probably bad) idea for a deck. Jeskai Tokens (Arisocrats). using things like impact tremors with siege, then using donate to an elesh norn to your opponent if you get into a position you cant get through their board with your mass amount of tokens (say they made a pillow fort, or have blazing archon)
Alex, this is what Liam did, but with shittier card trios.
