@@wilhelmbanse615 well you have that up north, yes it's nice, but how long can you just stand there and look at the bridge, harbour and Opera House? So after you have done that, what else is there, nothing. Been there, done that and believe me it's that boring. Each to their own, Sydney is magnificent in it's own way, as is Melbourne.
Even Brisbane cbd is more appealing than Melbourne. Nothing unique about Melbourne, so many other cities have many skyscrapers woopty doo

Ok, the Melbourne skyline looks very dense and tall, but I prefer the Sydney one. It is much more homogeneous, symmetric and with some necessary architectural curves.
Anyway, both are beautiful cities.

I like Sydney’s skyline but Melbourne’s has the low rise spine down the centre with Swanston street in the middle not only making it more alive street level than Sydney but the skyline gets a nice NYC style curve. Sydney’s skyline is pretty much one uniform line but still nice.

Melbourne has a bigger skyline than Sydney; but Sydney is denser and looks better.

@@harrygoldun5779 Melbourne is past it’s prime. People are leaving Melbourne and Victoria and heading to other states. It’s no big surprise that state had the biggest population exodus after the lockdowns.
@@weststigers1879 yes a few have left, no thanks to a barbaric State leader. People at returning, still rather be here than any other city. It's got a vibe and beauty like no other and yes Sydney is still boring.
@@harrygoldun5779 Sydney gets bigger international and domestic tourist numbers than Melbourne. In fact it’s the most popular location in Australia for tourism. Not bad for a "boring" place.
@@weststigers1879 I agree on that point, so after the bridge, Opera House, Bondi and the wasteland of Darling Harbour, what else is there to do? I've been there and was bored. Oh sorry, the only highlight was the ferry back to CQ at night, that was spectacular. Apart from that, yawn. Even the light rail was boring and
