Nice flying & beautiful scenery. This comment, "Please note that I flew safely and within the drone flight rules." I'm not so sure about. I have often thought about flying some of these locations but I worry out doing things like you were flying over traffic. I have done the same thing once but avoided it ever since. Nice vid! 👍

Great question. It is covered by CASA here www.casa.gov.au/knowyourdrone/drone-rules Basically you can but very careful, not too high and lower or land if helicopters are nearby. There is also a CASA app which helps

Sorry but you were not flying legally there above Yarra river in the video. Use the official app ‘CAN I FLY THERE’ by CASA to find out why.

Yes I would love to fly my drone much higher than 120 metres and take amazing footage. I was looking at Autel Evo but it isn't cheap. I might wait for the Mavic Pro 3 :)

Good question, I am assuming you mean along the river so no higher than 45 metres in the approach path to a helipad and CASA say "If you're near a helicopter landing site or smaller aerodrome without a control tower, you can fly your drone within 5.5 kilometres. If you become aware of manned aircraft nearby, you will have to manoeuvre away and land your drone as quickly and safely as possible." Licensed pilots can do more things but the general rules are here www.casa.gov.au/knowyourdrone/drone-rules
