Finally. the media seems to have heard us here. This one story of UHC bilking US taxpayers with false diagnoses is a good start. Thank you. We WANT you to cover this. Please keep at it.
United Health is the worst nightmare that folks who oppose single payer system claim that system would be. It's sad that those opposed to health insurance not being privatized say they don't want it and yet all the reasons they list are the same things private companies already do.
The Insurance companies deserve much of the blame, but as this video shows, the providers are equally responsible for the terrible state of US healthcare.
Disagree. The health insurance companies corrupt politicians with lobbyists and money. That prevents systemic reform. In an equitable system, the providers are allowed to provide quality care to patients and get fairly compensated by a single payer. We get higher costs and lower quality care with the for-profit insurance scheme we currently have.
An insurance company's job is to take everyone's money and avoid paying out a single dollar in claims. But the providers are equally responsible? Sure bud, whatever you think
@@Fullmetalseagul From my PERSONAL experience, providers charge: $20 for a 50cent advil, plus another $10 to hand it to you; ambulance ride that cost 3 months of the average worker's wages; $1000 for an IV bag that can be purchased for less than $1. There is a word for this: extortion.

Thank you for reporting this.
We need more of this reporting
It's not just United healthcare
Right. But they are the absolute worst. Denial rate is TWICE the industry average.
If I was Marty McFly I'd stop Luigi from going to McDonalds.

@@John-iq7ry and you think the for-profit hospital chains don't also buy politicians?
@@penguin32383 Not nearly to the same extent. You fix the health insurance problem and the providers will NOT be a problem.
