I recently rented a 2019 Chevrolet Impala LT, overall it was a very nice car. Besides being a good looking car it had plenty of options as well as a nice ride. I was a wholesaler and sold cars for 15 years, I honestly think it was an outstanding bang for the buck. I'd definitely own one, in fact it just might be my next vehicle.
I Bought this Trim Level in 2017 with the Pano Roof and the Red Tint Coat Option love that color. Really makes it pop. I love the 4G LTE WiFi offered and Onstar which you didn’t touch on. I love how the car reads my TEXT messages and the hands free calling works excellent. And what a RIDE! However, I did opt for the High Compression 4 Cyl. After a test drive with the 4 cyl I knew I didn’t need anymore power and coming from a older V6 Impala (3.8 liter) This Newer Impala seems to always willing to GO Faster and with no terrible sounds. The MPG is always 23 City and well over 35 HWY. One trip I averaged 44 mpg HWY. My house in Mass to N.H. and back. My older Impala would do 32mpg Hwy. on that stretch which I thought was very good. I could of traded back the Pano for the V6 but I would never used all that power and it would of definelty used a lot more gas. I like paying $33 every 15 days for gas. And after I drove the new V6 I love the engine but I didn’t notice that much difference when I would get on the gas. I thought it would Scream being 100hp more. But it was only marginally faster not enough to sway me. If the 4 cyl was slow or sounded bad or wasn’t peppy enough I would of gotten the V6 for sure. Drive them BOTH and see for yourself if you look at a LT trim.
I drove the exact same Impala trim as this one as a rental for almost a month and it is a great car to drive. This car has a need for speed and possesses a tender gas pedal(gotta be careful with that). Really sleek and the exterior is very relevant to the current trends. Inside is very roomy and cozy. But in my perspective, I don’t like the dashboard gauges because I feel that they age the driving experience of the car. And the blind spots are aplenty in this car, especially in the side mirrors.
I bought one yesterday I had a 2015 Malibu lt which I liked too, but this car is a class in itself so smooth v6 plenty of power for what it is (a sedan not sports car) luxurious .. Super happy, my wife has a 2018 Camaro LT ..so we are both happy campers
I think the Impala is a nice looking vehicle. Everyone seems to be into SUV’s and these large sedans aren’t selling as well. So, what do you think of Ford eliminating all car production? I think their making a big mistake, this decision could be good news for Honda and Toyota. They make some good looking sedans. Enjoy your videos.
Absolutely LOVE my loaded 2015 LTZ!!! It has the big 20" rims which fill-out the wheel-wells MUCH better. The low-profile 20" tires ain't cheap tho'! Just put on 4 new Continental DWS-06's......$330 for each corner....yikes!
Same '18 Impala LT trim & gray color! 😃 (Needed to lightly tint my windows, I work afternoons.) I got rid of the '16 Chevy Malibu, after 4 months! *Missed that V6 engine, I once had from a '10 Ford Fusion I previously owned. Great car!
Not everybody wants a big old cross over. Especially anyone close to my age. I personally enjoy the impala and now gm wants to get rid of it. Very very bad mistake right there.
The ass end doesnt extend out long enough in my opinion--it looks stubby and incomplete. I feel the taillights are situated a bit too high as well. Other than that the car is stunning, very attractive. I could do w/out all the assisted driving crap, but thats another story. This Impala looks a lot more respectable than the previous 2 generations.
I have a 17 Impala LT with the 4cyl engine. I previously had an 08 Malibu which I loved but upgraded to the Impala. I'm more than happy with the 4cyl engine. It has 27K on it now without a single problem. Hope this helps someone decide. Interestingly enough this was a car sold in Canada. It has a 240mph speedometer. People freak out when they see that.
I used to have a 2012 Chevy Camaro LT with the Bumblebee package on it but had to trade it in for a 2013 Ford Fusion in October of 2016 6 months after my son was born. I hate the fusion with a passion but it's so great for my now soon to be 3yr old. My question is, in your opinion, does the impala have the look, feel, and performance of the Camaro with the safety and technology of the fusion?
I can answer that, as we do own a 2018 Camaro LT and a 2018 impala LT. So take my words based on my personal experience. The impala shares the same engine with the camaro v6vvt 3.6 liter The camaro has approx 335hp the impala 305hp, the big differences there is the transmissions. Camaro has a 8 speed with sport/tour/snow settings. The impala is a 6 speed with no settings like that... If you want best of two worlds? Tech, comfort, power, luxury and enjoyment definitely go for the Impala.
I go to visit antique and vintage car shows all the time. Except for an occasional early 60's Impala SS I have yet to see a 1968 full size Chevy of any model. Any car that old in mint condtion has either been totally restored at a cost of many thousands of dollars or it was just never used. As for new cars that suck, its obvious you can't afford one. Sour grapes buddy :-)~~ By the way, show me a 1968 full size GM, Ford or Chrysler that lived its brief life in the snow belt and tell me if the lower body didn't have huge rust holes you could fly a 747 through.
I couldn't get past 4 and a half minutes of you talking about other cars. I came to hear about a 2018 impala lt not other trims and so on. Stay focused in the future. 👎👎
The Wife & I drove a few Camrys & Avalon's. She said.....uhhhh....no. She bought a totally loaded 2014 CPO Buick Regal AWD 2.0 Turbo. Gorgeous Black-Metallic, & every possible option. She still loves it!
The interior is insane on this car especially for its price tag everything is stitched and if you spend couple grand more the premier is full leather lol. And you sit there pretending the a4 is amazing?! With that after thought little screen mounted ON the dash!! ROFLMAO!! That's gay as fuck and purely done to save money by NOT integrating it in the dashboard itself. More and more do it these days..... your taste sucks which is evident.

I just purchased an Impala identical to the car tested in this video. I've only owned it a week but It is a wonderful driving experience.

That’s awesome - congrats! I think the Impala is a great car to daily drive.
The Test Drive little bit further in and 7000miles on mine now ..
Man I love it ! It’s by far the best sedan I ever owned hands down .
Hi Rob the video was great , I happen to own a 2018 impala Lt v6 and love it .

Honda and Toyota used to make good looking sedans. The new Civic model is the exception. A missed opportunity!
Great vid considering getting a 2018 exactly the 1 your test driving in the vid down to the color
Navigation for 800? I mainly use maps or waze, free and good enough
Amazing car love it

@Ronald McFondle woooo
Maybe they'll bring back the Impala for 2030! 😀
Thanks. I’m going to buy one
Very good review...thanks for posting!
Thanks for the great review!

Leo De Leon you summed this car up very well. Ready to buy but not really impressed here
It's a goof thing they did not make these cars to impress you then....it's unfortunate because they will quit making them after this year.
Oh man if u think that’s bad they didn’t even try on the steering wheel. It’s ugly as hell
Great car..
It’s a very comfortable car for a long trip! I was happy with it.
I enjoyed your review. I'm considering buying a 2020 Impala LT. How's the visibility out the rear window?

Mmm mine you can actually in the menu change from MPH to KM the speedometer/AC settings will switch over to KM and Celcius :)
Should I buy this in 2024 for 12k (110k miles). Comes with a 1 year warranty. 2 more years of warranty offered.
how do you use apple car play does your phone have to be connected or ?

@@MichelLinschoten I did end up buying a 2018 Impala about a month ago and you're right, it feels like the camaro!! I love it!! Thanks for the reply!!
Starts at 2:55, too much talk
Stop being a petulant little child....you'll live
Thanks😢
all those big wheels do is make it ride rougher over the bumpy stuff.
Where are you driving around? Location?
What are these type of beats called? 0:17
Great car
New york is great
Why does he seem to be shouting? Makes me think the interior is noisy.
It's not door panels are super thick insulated
That’s why I own one I live in New York😂
What is the first music track?
if u want real full size and style see 1968 chevy impala
Paul Cheek if you like to be uncomfortable than yes I might look into it 😂
comfortable enough for me
Paul Cheek We're here to get information on NEW cars not a 50 year old rust bucket.
some of those 50 yr old cars are in mint condition and new cars suck :-)

To sad it was discontinued :(
Jose Manuel It is not discontinued yet. Just rumors that it is going to be in the future.
I hear that they are making a 2020 and beyond for impala. google it.
They have a 2019 that came out. Same body.
@@JWiLLfoReaL Production was scheduled to end in March, but got a stay of execution til Jan 2020. That supposedly is the end of the line.

Cool car. Boring video.
Couldn't make it past the bullshit intro music... was making my ears pulse.
U got real problems
I like this car but come on chey that is the most ugly looking steering wheel I ever seen.
now look at the impala 67 and then you will realize this 2018 is ugly af
Nobody gives a fuck what you think...you enjoy you old POS 350sbs low HP turd nobody cares about okay?! LOL
Lmao this looks way better than that old fucking box, but keep living in the past i guess
The new camry will eat this thing alive
gtfo with that simple boring mom car

Pffffttt,yeah right,with a side of nachos.....
The interior is ugly. See the 2018 Audi A4 for a tasteful design.

You really just compared an Impala to a german luxury car?? Idiot.
@@MichelLinschoten seriously agree, I'm blown away by the exterior and interior of this car, I'll definitly get one of these in the future
Comparing a Impala to a Audi A4? Why not compare the Audi A4 to a Rolls Royce Wraith?
Audis are time bombs
