Been trying to get a 6MT Pavement Premium since January 2023, could of purchased a Raven colored one in June and passed. My local dealer has a 2023 Pavement due at the dealership in March, which I had a deposit on and was waiting for at MSRP. Had a dealer about an hour and half away call me on December 20 about a 6MT Pavement gr86 Premium due in their dealership anyday and they would sell it to me MSRP. I told them that I had one reserved at my local dealer due in March, and that I will just wait for that one. The next day that dealership called me and told me they received the car and would sell it to me for $500 under MSRP. I bought it on December 29. Lucked out that this dealer was a smaller volume dealer, had not received a single gr86 the entire year, and wanted to get it off the lot before the end of the year.
I'm glad you got an open to information salesperson. Getting the facts is something you can adapt to, when people don't disclose you feel out of the purchasing loop. I hope it arrives sooner than later for you!
I was too but still nothing from Toyota Press page about dates/pricing, then I saw this one. My other reason was I don't want the new nanny stuff they'll add on for '24.
